    I rented Just Dream venue space for my birthday celebration on Sept 30, 2023. During the months and weeks leading up to my event the owner ***************************** was extremely difficult to reach. I phoned and texted her numerous times to discuss details for my event and to no avail she did not respond even up to the day before my party to confirm when I would be able to come drop off items the afternoon prior to the party. As per the contract my security deposit of $600.00 was to be returned after 15 business days. Its has been close to 3 months and I have not been able to reach ******* and she has not returned my security deposit.

    I rented ************** from JUST DREAM EVENTS in the contract given it was requested that $800 be paid in order to secure a security guard as well as a reimbursable $600 refund in the event that the place is returned in the same way as when the decorate is entered. This refund was due to be given back 15 days after the party. I have text the owner and have not received my deposit. I am requesting the full refund because there was no security guard at the party. I have video and pictures to show.

    I had a party at their place on January 14 2023 where I was supposed to get a smoke machine wich I didnt get and I was told that I would get a refund and my deposit back.I keep calling and emailing and no one answer me .Please help thank you.

    I paid a refundable deposit of $600 that was to be returned 7 days after the event. My party was May 6, 2023. I have emailed and called ******* the owner several times with no response. It appears now that my email messages have been blocked.

    I had a baby shower at Just Dream Event Venue on June 25th , 2023 and Im completely disappointed. We got a package deal that came with the venue and decorations. We discussed multiple decorations and how the place would look and we paid extra for certain items and to my surprise nothing we discussed was there and she has not responded, apologized nor reached out to me or given me a refund. Also the decorations she gave me that I specifically told her I didnt want was hanging off the walls which was completely embarrassing and attached a photo. I would like a refund for the items I paid for and my security deposit back that is stated in my contract. I have tried to contact her on multiple occasions through phone calls, text messages, and email and still have not got a response or heard back from them. Here is a list of the following items I did not receive or gotten a refund for. Security Deposit - $600 Storybook - $280 Security guard- $200 Bartender - $200

    I booked this venue in November 2022 for my daughters April ***** 16 celebration. In addition to the rental fee and security guard fee , I paid the venue owner a $600 security deposit, which I was told would be refunded providing there was no damage to the facility. The party was held on April 1, 2023. I have yet to be refunded the security deposit although the venue was not damaged and it was cleaned to her specifications. ***************** was on the premises and agreed that everything was fine and in order. It is now one month later, and although I have been promised the money on multiple occasions, I have not received it. My numerous phone calls and numerous texts have been largely ignored. I am seeking to recuperate my refund.

    I paid the owner for several things that were not at my party no heads up no apology and I never received the money back and she has stop returning my calls.. business is unethical and should be close down.. too many complaints from different people

    Paid for my function in full including a deposit of $600 that should have been returned if there were no issues (broken items). I have been calling and texting the owner to arrange my return of my deposit and no answer. I have yet to receive my deposit.

    On January 17, 2022 my boyfriend and I paid $1,500 for a shower to take place on April 17th, 2022. Due to unfortunate circumstances, we had to cancel. In our agreement we were told that we had a year to utilize the venue and this was also confirmed via email by the venue. I have been reaching out to the venue for a new date via email/text/Instagram and have not received any response. I scheduled an appt for a consultation and did not receive any response that the appointment was confirmed but I still showed up to the venue and she was not there. Instead, there were 4 other women in front complaining that they have been showing up for weeks trying to receive their security deposit and this is discouraging. At this point, we would like the venue to respond to us regarding a new date or provide us with a refund of our deposit.

    In March of 2022, I came into the venue and paid in full for the venue in the amount of $1400.00 for an event for my graduation on 7/22/22. ******* the owner advertised a sale to rent the space at the price stated above but would have to be paid in full at the time of the signing of the contract. A contract was signed and *******(the owner) went over the details of the contract, the full $1400 was paid at this time. ******* discussed with me that prior to the date that a deposit of $600( security deposit ) and $200 for security guard for the day of the event was to be paid. The $600 would be returned within 7 business days after the event the same way it was sent. On 7/13/2022 a total of $800 was sent via Zelle to *******. I contacted ******* on 8/3/2022 in reference to the security via email and I got no response to my email. I called her from my cellphone and there was no answer and was unable to leave a voicemail because her mailbox was full. On 8/9/22, I called her from my job phone and she answered. I inquired about my security deposit and the email that I sent to her. She apologized that her assistant may have overlooked the email and she would get back to me via email or phone after reading the email. I have reached out to her on numerous occasion via email, text and phone calls . She has blocked my incoming phone calls and messages so I can no longer contact her. I would like to honor her contract and give me back my security deposit of $600 as discussed and signed. After researching and discussing with other clients, I have seen this is a pattern of her business practice which is fraudulent and deceiving. I am not the first client she has done this to base on a few reviews via ****** and other clients.
