    I booked a surprise 60th birthday party for my mother at this venue. The owner ******* had no issues taking my $800 deposit for the date. I proceeded to plan my party, and reached out to her for a contract which I did not receive for nearly a month. Her customer service is very poor. She has a fake assistant named ******** who does not exist, this is a fictional person that she can blame every misdoing on. She holds open business hours twice a week Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 7 but she doesn't adhere to these and closes when she feels like it. People who have booked with her and given her thousands of events cannot reach her through text, phone call or in person! We finally do get a contract a month later, and I make ***********. In her contract she states, customer pays a $600 refundable security deposit. I paid all monies due including the security deposit without issue. ******* happily and quickly took my money. I had my event on July 1st and have not received my deposit back after being told I would receive this back. I have called well over 50 times, emailed, sent Zelle requests all of which have not yielded my back my security deposit. I spoke to a few of her other customers who used her venue and she has not returned their security deposits back. After digging online, there are a slew of people who this woman owes thousands of dollars to. No one can find her and she dodges and ditches calls and open houses if she feels people may be attempting to get their hard earned money back. I threatened to take legal action and she finally returned a text, promising to return my money but I must go in person to receive it. I do not trust that this woman won't have me robbed as soon as I leave her venue. I have enclosed my Zelle payments, reviews from other customers, and my many emails. Many people have been victimized by this woman down to her promising an ice machine, charging for it, and being told the day of the event that it is out of order. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!
