    I've paid to have rons do my front struts and a alignment for $2200 a cv axle for 700 and back brakes for 300 and 25 for a inspection. I have no problem with the money that was spent the problem is they never did the work and say they did. I had a feeling that they didn't because I've had issues. And upon going to another shop I was right and had to pay that shop 2300 to do all the work rons says they did the shop is cole muffler in ithaca ny and they are willing to vouche for this. Upon them checking they also realized rons pulled my ebrake system out my back and never reinstalled it so I've had my tires seazing on me several times which is the main reason I knew rons was messing with my stuff. Rons passed my cars inspection before they did my back brakes and you need the ebrake to pass so either they illegally passed my car or they ripped it out and never put it back. I just want things to be made right.

    We did the Front Left and Right Strut. We do have the invoices to back this up. With dates on  the final bill March 09,2023. We did this on March 10,2023  We did do the axle shafts and we do have the invoices to back this up dated October 26,2022. With  dates. We did this on October 26, 2023.  We did a front-end alignment with a printout with a date stamp on that on March 10,2023 at 11:12 AM.  We did a NYS Inspection with a printout with date stamp on that on April 17,2023at 1:49 PM. as you can see that was a month after the repairs.  We installed 2 tires and Rear rotors and brakes that the customer supplied parts for. We completed this  on March 31,2023 We do not warranty these.  We also balanced 2 Tires for him on March 13, 2023  We did not touch the e brake. The E brake was working when it was inspected.  Just to inform you, all parts that we replaced are still under a 1-year warranty. He did not call us to tell us any of this until August 4, 2023, in the afternoon. This is 5 months after the repairs were completed. We could still warranty these if he came here and told us about the issue. But however, if he brings back the parts that ***** ******* replaced (if ours) We will help him out.   He was told by the mechanic that he needed to bring the parts back if he had the replacement at another shop. Mr. ******** then got very angry at the mechanic. He proceeded to yell at him. The parts are needed for the warranty. We need a final bill from that shop that did its repairs ****** ******* in Ithaca). And we need proof that these parts we bought and replaced.  We refuse to reimburse until the old parts are here to prove the work was done with the same part numbers that match our invoices. And an itemized invoice from ***** ******* proving he had the work  done there.

    I called Ron’s Body & Paint inc to tow a vehicle, I pre paid them with my Debit card. They sent the tow truck there to pickup vehicle but someone came out and told them not to tow it, the driver left and did not tow the vehicle. I called Ron’s Body to see if they had completed the job, they said no that they were told by someone there not to tow. The vehicle is registered and insured to me also I have clear title in my name there was no reason for them not to tow it I had told them this before the driver was sent there. The total fee was $181.18 pre paid. Ron told me he was still going to charge me $125 for nothing no tow ever happened. I told him I was not paying $125 for nothing but he still said he would not refund my card. Two days later I check my bank account and see Ron’s Body has changed me full price for doing nothing $181.18 out of my checking account. This is just not right this business is ripping me off no service pro formed should not be charged for nothing. I have filed a dispute with my bank and hopefully get a refund soon. I don’t recommend Ron’s body paint to anyone.

    I am writing in response to the complaint notice dated 8/ 15/22 by *** ****** *** 

    I have enclosed a statement from both our dispatcher, Ronnie S  and our tow truck driver, Josh A   concerning the circumstances of this tow. I have also enclosed a copy of the ******* *** record. 

    This was a very chaotic scene and I believe some legal issues concerning ownership of this vehicle.

    There was clearly a family dispute happening and violence threatened, as you can see in the following statements. 

    Although we were unable to complete the tow requested, that was not a situation created by our company or driver.

    Our inability to complete this tow strictly belongs to Mr. ******.

    I firmly believe he was not planning to be present because he knew there was a family dispute going on.

    Ron's Body & Paint incurred expenses for this tow whether or not we were able to deliver the vehicle and therefore stand by our decision to not issue a refund.
