    On February 12, 2025, I sent a debt validation request to Top Line Reporting Inc. via Certified Mail, requesting proof of an alleged debt they reported to **********. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA, 15 U.S.C. 1692g), they were required to validate the debt or cease reporting it.Top Line Reporting failed to validate the debt but continued reporting the account to **********, violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA, 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2).I disputed this directly with TransUnion, but Top Line Reporting falsely verified the tradeline without providing proper validation. This is a clear violation of federal law.I have filed complaints with the ****, FTC, and the NY Attorney General regarding these violations. I request BBB's assistance in having Top Line Reporting remove the unverified tradeline immediately.

    I have attempted to contact this company multiple times via phone and email for the last several months for erroneous reporting. They are reporting a delinquent account for a rental agreement that is expired and beyond the lease date that is affecting my credit. I have sent proof of payments and my lease dates but have not heard back via email or phone. My credit report must be fixed immediately.

    I was renting an apartment two years ago with three roommates. I paid my share of the rent but the other haven't resulting in eviction notices twice. One of my roommates used rental assistance to cover a year of rent, in 2021. The roommates have not paid their portion in 2022. I moved out in February 2023 and in September of 2024, I found out that it went to collections for unpaid rent of $66,000 which is not entirely true because I've paid my portion and one of my roommates used rental assistance.     I have been notified by the credit reporting agencies that this company inaccurately reported that I was delinquent in paying my rent. My landlord has been notified of this issue. TransUnion lowered my credit score by 95 points due to Top Line Reporting's fraudulent reporting. I have worked hard to maintain an excellent credit score and they have ruined it.

    This company is reporting fraudulent information on my credit report and I can't get in touch with them I've been trying to get in contact with them since December they don't answer calls I leave messages no call back they don't email you back I sent letters no answer they reported that I owe $4,200 of back rent which is a lie because I have court agreement letter from the landlord saying I don't which is attached to this complaint

    My leasing office used this company as I was behind on rent. I made a huge payment towards the debt on Feb, but have not updated the new amount that I owe, which is 10K less then what they are reporting. I reached out and was told that It would be reported in March. It is now May and they have not sent the new balance into the credit bureaus.

    I was renting in ******** from July 2020 to March 2023. About half way through our last year we received notice that realty company JCS Realty, was going to start reporting rent payments to Topline. We thought this was a good idea because we always paid and paid on time. In Feb 2023, we contacted our landlord because we got an opportunity to move to ********. We found another tenant to move in, we made our last rent payment on March 1st and moved out March 5th. The apartment was leased again April 1st. Our security deposit was refunded April 18th- I was provided a ledger from the landlord. In March 2024 I noticed a charge off from Topline for December 2023. We had already been living in ******** for 9 months- never been contacted about any balance owed. I contacted the old landlord they confirmed every payment was current and we didnt owe them money. Ive disputed this negative reporting multiple times through TransUnion. They changed the rating from Charged of as bad debt to Payment made after charge off. The only payment made after we moved out was to ** in the form of a security deposit refund. There was no balance to charge off at all. I have proof of that. Ive called their office multiple times, Ive emailed them multiple times and my old landlord asked to be ccd on the emails because they dont understand the discrepancy. I dont even think Topline Reporting is a legitimate business. This is a scam.
