  I tried to phone them after speaking to them last spring and today I find out that their accredited company has been revoked and their phone has been disconnected. I was never notified that they were going out of business as I cannot even find their website. I have two books published with them in 2018 and have only ever gotten one earnings report. Not sure what to do now.

  Ive fallen prey to Stratton Presss tactics. They publish your book for a decent price. Then, feigning care for your book, they push for you to have it turned into an audio book, displayed at book fairs, translated, marketed among bookstores, and so on. As soon as you yield to their high-pressure tactics and agree to accept one of their offers, they IMMEDIATELY transfer you to the cashier, so you can pay. The audio book, read by someone with a foreign accent, was a dismal failure. I played along with them and sent corrections all through the book, and never received a corrected copy. As for the translations, it was clear that the book had not been translated by a native speaker, or a true translator. When I pointed that out, my contact, *****, seemed surprised that I was fluent in that language. She proceeded to ask whether I could the second language. When I answered in the affirmative, she was silent, and the conversation ended. None of my money was returned, and the company still hasnt come forth with the product. I cant even give them a single star!

  To whom it may ******** I signed a contract with ************ has taken over ***** of my money. I talk with a young lady by the name of for over a year before I ever even agreed to doing business with them. They received my final manuscript since 2021, I have not heard from them since. STRATTON PRESS IS A FRAUD.

  This company has taken over ***** of my money. I talk with a young lady by the name of for over a year before I ever even agreed to doing business with them. This lady was so sweet, but turned out to be a snake, a liar, and a deceiver. I normally know a scammer a mile away. But this one has caught me by surprise. I called to check the timeframe of when my book should be finish. Only to learn none of the previous numbers worked. I sent out threats of legal actions and press charges, then a *************************: Project manager sent me an email saying they had switched telecommunication. And he will see to it that everything runs smoothly moving forward. I ask for a refund he put me in contact with the financial department. I reach them only to find out they still refuse to refund my money. Senior ****** Services Officer was In Charge of editing and printing, but that never happened. Project Manager: his number is no longer active. Supervisor ****** Services Group: Told me******* no longer worked for the company. emailed me to confirm she received my final manuscript on May 2, 2023, I have not heard from them since. STRATTON PRESS IS A FRAUD.

  There are no words BAD enough for this SCAM company who took over $5000 of my husbands hard earned money only to receive promises!!! Now we hear they have gone under. Really???? There should be a recourse for these kind of crooks who prey on people. NO STARS ?? from me!!!

  Stratton Press contracted with me for a certain amount of money (which I paid in full) to publish my book in print and Kindle. The process took almost 2 years and my book was never published. They asked on numerous occasions for additional funds over and above the agreed upon contract for other things such as promise for marketing, etc. I got the impression that if I did not give them additional funds my book would not go to press. They were very friendly but manipulative in their communication. They did publish the Kindle edition after I strongly insisted that I will not pay any additional costs. The print version was not accomplished after nearly two years. I sent them communication seeking clarity and letting them know I had no interest in providing them with additional funding for marketing or other items. I finally communicated to them that I wished to terminate our contract and sought a refund. They did not abide by our contract and they have not refunded any of the funds I gave them. Though I checked one star, given the opportunity I would not give them any stars! I do NOT recommend using Stratton Press at all. They are dishonest and seem to only be interested in getting money from a customer. *******************

  you guys **** your services ****, you ********** too much and do very little in return. there were services I paid for and never had them done. Then they had the nerve to offer a different service and charge for it. Fair warning to aspiring authors. Do NOT publish your novel with this company.

  I have been going back and forth with Stratton for more than a year. They keep making promises but does not keep them. They will not return calls when messages are left and sometimes tell you they're going to call you back and it never happens. My contract states that I should receive 10 free books once my book is completed; book is completed, and I still have not received my books. I've spoken to ************************* and he promised he will have someone call me---that did not happen. I'm frustrated and want ALL of my money back. I wish there was a 0 star to choose from!

  Very wary of this company. They wanted to display my book. Sounded very shady when I returned the call. Did not even answer the phone with the name of the publishing company.
