I'd booked an international flight from ********* to *********** on December 22nd, 2021 but I canceled my reservation and requested for a refund. Despite multiple phone calls, follow up Emails and many written feedback forms I haven't gotten my refund yet. They keep saying that my money has been refunded but I haven't received any money. I've even asked them to share transaction details multiple times but they are not sharing any transaction details and they always ask me to call them back again. Hello,On Jan 07, 2022, my card was charged for a flight to India for my wife (*****************************) I bought it through airindia website. The ticket was never issued. I called them to only be told that they will provide refund right away. Eight months later, no refund has been given.I booked second ticket through third party and went to India. It has been eight months since I'm waiting for the refund. Every month, they tell me that it will take 30days for the refund. It takes hours and hours of time on hold over the phone. I traveled with air India and they misplaced my bags. I flew from ******* to ********* and have been without my luggage for 3 days now. It is impossible to get any support or updates beyond sending emails, nobody answers the phone, and I am left waiting without updates. I am here for business and two of the boxes are required for my event that I am supposed to attend. I don't have my clothes or my equipment. This trip has cost over $10,000 and is now potentially going to be completely waisted. We have had to adjust our travel plans for this inquiring more costs. Date of the transaction: 01/29/2020 Amount of the money paid: USD ******** What the business committed to provide: Return flight for 2 passengers - *** ********************************* and **** ***************** *******, from ******* India to *******, *** via *****, departing ******* on 5/25/2020 and return back on 7/3/2020 Nature of dispute: The flight never departed and was cancelled due the Covid Pandemic.Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem: It doesnt appear there is any willingness to refund as we have been trying hard for the last 2 years and spent hours over phone to secure our refunds. Every time there is a new ******** service agent on the phone who asks for various kinds of information and assuring us that the refund would be made in 4-8 weeks. Only to our dismay, we have call them again after those 8 weeks.Ticket Number: *************, ************* As you can see that we have tried to work this out with Air India for past 2 years and they have simply been delaying us with false assurances of refund. At times they also want the intermediary travel agent, Expedia to fill out some documentation for which Air India doesn't provide a clear documented process. They don't even communicate via emails and every thing is based on phone calls, for which there's a different agent every time. Not sure if they keep any records of numerous phone calls that I made as every time I have to start over. It's quite frustrating and I do not have any other option but resort to BBB to help me get my hard earned money back which I used to buy tickets for my parents. It's also emotionally stressful for since they are not growing any younger and I have not been able to see them since the time I booked these tickets. They still keep dragging, giving different explanation for each time I call them. I've paid huge amount for the flight tickets and didn't receive any refund/credit. It is so disappointing, disturbing as they give me different reasons to follow up and no one really cares. I'm left with no help & looking for justice here. I'm out of options as they kept postponing till date for months passing more than a year. I'm worried as it is affecting me a lot & kindly request you'll to help me in this.
