I seen multiple soft and hard inquires from Octane Lending/Roadrunner Financial, *** that were not authorized by me. I did not request any credit/loans for an off road machine. I was told my Octanes customer service that there were several soft pulls and a hard pulls. I told them I never filled out any credit apps for any off road loan/credit and the soft inquires and or hard inquires they pulled were either fraud or identity theft and i told them I want them removed asap. The *** from octane was not willing to help with at all and I was then transferred several times and no one was willing to help.Business Response

I have repeatedly called this business to find out about my payment plan and to get a date on when my payments are due. The automated service answers and when I try to reach a representative it hangs up. Every time. Please dont take my word.. look up their number and call this business and try to get someone on the phone to answer a question about my billing. Ive repeatedly called for months without an answer. I still pay my bill when they text and tell me its late but then they have charged a late fee and I still have no answers on when the bill is actually due. Or how much I owe etc. Ive tried to log onto their site but I dont have my account information because no one will answer to give it to me. Please HELPBusiness Response

We have received your recent BBB complaint dated February 20, 2025. We genuinely apologize for the challenges you encountered with our automated system while trying to access your account information. Upon reviewing this matter, we found that the email address associated with the contract signed at the dealership does not match the one you provided to the BBB or on the Bill of Sale document. This mismatch is why our attempts to send your account details have not been successful. We completely understand how frustrating this situation must be for you, and we are truly sorry for any stress it has caused. We tried reaching out to you by phone multiple times to discuss the matter, but unfortunately, we were not able to connect. We are here to help and want to make things right. As a courtesy for the inconvenience, we have processed a one-time waiver of the late fees incurred on your account and have sent the necessary account documents to the email that is provided here and on the Bill of Sale. If you would like to contact us to discuss the matter further, we would encourage you to email us at ******************************************************************** or call us at ************. Roadrunner financial was supposed to automatically withdraw payments from my account. When they got ahold of me to say I missed a payment (via voicemail) I went to make the payment and realized they had locked me out of my account. I played phone tag with them for months attempting to make a payment. Each time they called was from a different spoofed number. When I would attempt to call back it would go to an Indian call center that had no idea of what I was talking about. When I returned calls and left messages to the management they never called me back. I had no option to make my payment. They never sent me letters outside of a final letter I received after my motorcycle was repossessed. Roadrunner made it impossible to catch up on my payments. And even at the end when I finally got in touch with them they refused to take the full amount I had owed and claimed me not being able to reach them was a me problem and not a them problem.Business Response
