    Paris Baguette uses their "new & improved" app to scam customers into spending more money.I have been a longtime customer and have patronized them for over a decade. Recently, Paris Baguette introduced a new app with "challenges", where if you buy products 3x, then you receive more points, which go towards rewards.The first two times I scanned my app, I had no problems. The final time, the purchase did not post to my rewards account, even though I successfully received my digital invoice, which indicates that the system did register that I had visited. I submitted my invoice and asked that my account be updated. The Paris Baguette customer service added the value of my invoice, but did not mark the challenge as complete. I followed up 3 more times and they never responded. I wasted my time over the course of a week trying to get the error fixed. At this point, it is clear that I have been "ghosted" by Paris Baguette's customer service.I see that the new September 2024 challenge is also a challenge where you have to buy an item 3x within the month to receive the points benefit. I fully expect that exactly the same thing will happen: on the 3rd time, the purchase will not post, and the customer will never see the benefit of the extra points.This is a very shady business practice. Shame on Paris Baguette to encourage their customers to spend more with false advertising.
