      I ordered from this company many times and never had an issue. In March of this year I put in another order as a gift for my wife. The order went through and I was given a confirmation email and order number (*********) at that time (March 5th 2024). My credit card was charged the amount of ****** almost immediately. I was able to see that the company put my order together and even created a shipping label and number for *** (******************) but had not sent the order out for shipment. Almost a month goes by so I reach out to their customer service email and get an automated response that someone will be assigned to my issue. Never got a response. At this point in time I have written four different emails to the company. After the first two I stopped even receiving the automated emails. The third and fourth emails were just completely ignored. My wife even wrote one from her email address with all the information and again got an automated response but no follow up. At this point I am unable to get my order or a refund because the company refuses to contact me in any way, shape, or form. *** even reached out to *** but they say the problem lies with Homesick Candles first and foremost. Im moving this issue up to the BBB because Id like the goods that I paid for and an apology from the company that we have supported for years now.

      In early December 2023 I ordered $350 worth of candles from this company. The package from *** was scheduled to be delivered on 12/8/23, however it was not. I contacted *** in the days following this issue and they were unable to locate the package or provide any information as to where it was. They were also unable to provide a delivery picture. I first emailed the company on 12/12/23 to let them know that the package had not been delivered and that *** could not locate it. (Note that the company only provides a customer service email address and does not provide a phone number to call to talk to someone.) I received an automated email back from the company letting me know they would get back to me in 48 hours. They did not. I emailed every week for four weeks until someone finally responded to my email on 1/17/24. The customer service rep ****** let me know that a replacement package would be issued and asked me for my current address. I wrote back immediately and provided him with the address to use to send the replacement package. Since that time, I have emailed every week to follow up and no one responds; it has now been 4 months since I originally contacted this company about this issue and, to date, no replacement package has been sent, and they ignore my requests for updates. How is this anything other than a scam? They took my money and have yet to deliver the products 4 months later. They claim to get back to customers with order concerns in 2 business days and do nothing of the sort. If you can help me hold this company accountable, I would appreciate it.

      At this time, my complaint, ID ******** regarding Homesick has been resolved.

      The company did reply to me directly by email (after learning of the BBB complaint) and issued me a refund. While I do appreciate this, it shouldn't take 4 months (and a complaint of this nature) for the company to do this. Also, given that email is the only way the company communicates with customers, it doesn't seem reasonable to ignore consistent email requests for assistance over a 4-month period. So, while I'm glad to have this resolved, and appreciate your assistance, I think customers should be aware of the seemingly shady practices of this business.

      Cannot reach anyone at company after emailing 3-4 times about a missing order- nothing! You shouldnt be able to run a business without a contact phone number!

      I paid for my order, *********, on Dec 11. Estimated arrival was Dec 18 latest. It is Dec 20 and I have heard no response. I have tried contacting their provided email and have received no response. They provide no phone number. What a scam. I need them to reply to me and send my **** candle.

      I placed an online order (Order #*********) for three candles with Homesick on November 29. The order contained Christmas presents, and it was estimated to arrive on December 6.On December 3, Homesick sent an automated email indicating that my order hadnt started moving yet (which I guess was unusual), but they were looking into it. On December 8, there still had been no updates to tracking (it was listed as pre-transit), so I emailed their help address. I received an automated reply that my message had been received and was being assigned to a support person. On December 14, I still hadnt received an answer and the tracking still said it was pre-transit, so I emailed again to follow up and express my concern about running out of time for online orders to arrive before Christmas. After still not hearing anything, I emailed again on December 15 and again on December 19. I have still not received any response, and I had to make other, more expensive purchases to replace the Christmas gifts I assume I wont be receiving in time for the holiday at this point. I was unable to find a phone number to call to speak to customer service. All paths seem to lead back to their help email address, and Im beginning to wonder whether it is monitored at all.

      I received the "Let's Toast" candle as a gift for my recent engagement from a friend. I had previously purchased these candles myself before so was familiar with the brand. This particular candle was faulty and was melting in a strange way, where only the center of the candle was being melted and a wall of candle was solid around **************** jar. I contacted the company regarding this issue asking for a new candle. They responded quickly and told me they would replace it and asked for my address. I sent them my address but had never received the new candle. I had sent them 5 emails as follow *** over the last 2 months, but cannot get a reply from the company. I have sent them a message on instagram too, which they are active on, but I had not gotten a reply.

      To preface - I reached out to customer service agent, ****, three times explaining this entire story (the company is at fault). He responded very sarcastically, rudely, and offered no solution or understanding of the issue at hand. I bought one candle and ordered it to my home instead of my friends for her birthday accidentally. I emailed and the auto response said that homesick cannot change shipping addresses after order is placed. So figuring Id just return the one I shipped to myself, I ordered another for my friend. Then homesick emails back that they did change the address on the first order. So I emailed again for Homesick to please cancel the repeat order. No response and both orders go out. Now I bought an extra candle and extra shipping that I never wanted and cannot return. Please advise. If homesick is able to change addresses after shipping, then that needs to be removed from the auto email I received saying that was impossible. Had I known they could change the address after the order was placed, I would not have purchased the second candle.

      My husband purchased a ***** Homesick candle from the Homesick ************** in December, ******************************** The glass was shattered when he opened the box. He has filed a claim and we have tried to contact them via email and through ******** They do not have a phone number listed anywhere. They have never replied to **. Order #*********.

      On the recommendation of this article (********************************************************************************************) I bought candles from Homesick. They arrived broken. In fact, my boyfriend cut his hand open when he reached into the box and required stitches. I sent several emails and photos to the company but was ignored each time. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and now Homesick is saying they did nothing wrong and want their money ($61.08) despite the fact that the candles arrived broken.I gave them several chances to resolve this issue between us but they ignored each attempt. They are acting in bad faith and have violated our rights to safety by sending us a box of broken glass. This is an unethical, greedy and callous company and not the way to handle customers.

      Order number #********* was shipped on December 16th, 2022. According to the **** tracking number, the package was delivered on December 19th, 2022 "in or at mailbox". I ordered 3 glass jar candles and there is no way this box could've fit in my mailbox. The box was not in my mailbox, near my mailbox, on my porch or anywhere else. There is no phone number on their website to contact. On December 20th, I emailed their customer service explaining the situation and I received an automated message saying that I would hear back within 72 business hours. On December 28th, I didn't have a response and sent a follow-up email. It is now January 6th, 2023 and I still have not received a response.
