I took a brand new pair of shorts in to their store and spoke with a nice woman about altering them. She was very confident that they could do the alterations, so she gave me the price and I paid her the $148.50. A few weeks goes by, i haven't heard anything, after a month they called me to come in for a second fitting. When I got there they basically told me that the first lady I spoke to shouldn't have taken on the job and that they couldn't do what I asked. However, they had altered the shorts and tried to do it, but to no avail. So now I have a brand new pair of shorts that has been cut up and altered, but not in the way we discussed. I wanted them to give me the money for the shorts and a refund, but they said no, so I agreed to just a refund and they would return the shorts. They then send me an email with a document attached that is essentially an NDA and say I have to sign it to get the refund and the shorts back. I am not signing an NDA, so... I went online and posted a review stating exactly what I have said here, and then they emailed me to take it down. I am not taking it down. They are hold both my money and shorts hostage until I do so... I tried to fight the charge via my credit card company, but they lied to **** and showed them the receipt as proof. Well they ask for payment upfront, so of course there's a receipt, but there were no services rendered. Please help! Attached is all of the emails that will verify my story.

***** came into our ********************** and brought a pair of shorts for alterations. The fitter pinned her garment and made an error that was fixable. The fitter that worked with this customer is no longer part of our company. When the client returned, the fit was not what she expected. From the beginning, our team acknowledged our error, as you can see in the email chain she provided. At Alts, we strive to provide the best alterations service, and we understand that in Mollys experience, we failed. Right away, we provided a resolution: we restored the garment to its original condition, fixed the zipper (which was not part of the original alterations) as a gesture of goodwill, and offered a 100% refund on her alterations. Our refund process requires a general release form, which ***** signed. ***** was asked to remove her review online as per our agreement, ***** refused, so the refund was not processed. We asked for an address to deliver her garment and will be happy to do so. We would be more than happy to refund her order. We believe that **** has provided a fair resolution and is working to resolve the situation in a friendly manner. We kindly ask for the review to be removed and the refund will be processed the same day.
