      I had an incredibly disappointing experience with ALTS Alteration Specialists. After returning my dress in an unfinished and poorly altered state, they admitted fault but refused to issue a refund unless I signed a release form agreeing not to leave a negative review or speak critically of their business. This tactic is unethical, a violation of fair consumer practices, and an attempt to silence honest feedback.

      Additionally, they held onto my garment for 9 days without informing me that they lacked the tools to complete the alterations properly, leaving me no time to seek another tailor. Their insistence on offering useless solutions like further alterations, while withholding money owed, demonstrates a lack of professionalism and accountability.

      I urge others to proceed with caution and avoid this business if you value transparency and ethical practices.

      We served ***** on September 17th, 2024, and performed several alterations on her black dress. The dress was due for completion on the 28th, but we finished it ahead of schedule. ***** came to our shop on the 27th, tried on the dress, and picked it up. Later, ***** followed up with us after receiving an follow up email from our customer experience team and expressed that the dress was not completed to our usual standards. We immediately offered her the opportunity to return for adjustments, but she refused, stating that she had already gone to another tailor to fix the dress, which left us no chance to see it or offer adjustments under our 30-day policy.***** then requested a refund for the service she received and exchanged several emails and phone calls with us. Our policy does not allow refunds; however, we assured her that we would do everything we could to ensure her satisfaction. After further discussion, we offered a full refund for the alterations, going above and beyond our ********* such rare cases, our process requires a common agreement, as we believe this is the right approach from both a business and customer service perspective. Our offer to adjust the dress remains, along with the refund. We hope to regain ******* trust in the future.

      They took my clothes for tailoring and never returned them.

      This statement is categorically false. We have been in regular communication with the client about scheduling a free delivery of their altered clothes and the client has been unresponsive, causing the delay. We will continue to reach out to the client to schedule the delivery.
