I purchased items on 11/27/22 and have yet to receive them. I am currently being ignored and have contacted the compnay multiple times. They stated it was on ***** to get the items to me however a label was printed and ***** never received my products. I'm furious they decided the holidays during a bunch of sales was a good time to change up their programs and website to shut down all communication with customers. I tried calling and there was no way to get through the hold lines. No responses to emails and now the website says a bunch of what I ordered (deal products I was able to get with a coupon are on sale) I want them to provide me with the products they do have at the price I paid and make up for what they do not have with the best possible replacements- 2 of the regular size foundations to make up for the large foundation which still is not the equal amount and something to make up for the gifts I know they are now sold out of and for having to wait over a month for my products. I'm out of everything and this is ridiculous that they are treating people this way. I'd have just reported it to my credit card company if I hadn't gotten such a deal on the products and wanted what I paid for. I shouldn't have to take it this far to get my stuff honestly.Customer Answer

At this time, I have not been contacted by Bare Escentuals Beauty, Inc. regarding complaint ID ********. I have reached out to them again and they have continued to ignore me. I emailed them again and attempted to reach out via ******** I was told by another ******* user the company was acquired by a new buyer and they were informed the new buyers have no intention of filling any orders from before the purchase. The former owners apparently just dropped everything and didnt finish filling orders. I have no proof of this as Im not able to search business sales records of course but this was what I was told after she had gone to a bare minerals boutique in a mall. I am assuming my only recourse will be to go through my credit card company and demand a refund as they are also refusing to refund people even though they havent filled the orders. Its insane as they keep sending me sales emails like they think Ill buy something else from them after they didnt even fill the last order. Please do warn the public about them

I bought a foundation from bareMinerals on Thursday November 25th. After using the foundation a few times and not being able to keep it on because of it causing my face to get tingly and itchy I messaged them on chat asking for a refund slip. She told me to fill out a form that she send via chat and send it to them for the refund. I sent the form in December 15th. The next day I got an email back saying their system isnt accepting emails and that I need to resend my message on the 19th. So I did. On December 20th I got the same msssage back again that they cant accept emails because their system is being updated and I need to send my email again on the 21st. At this point I was confused and called them and they said the same thing that they cant refund me because their system is being updated and it isnt allowing them into any accounts. They can however take orders which he informed me of. I sent my email again today on the 21st for my refund. I had a reaction to this product and it seems like they dont want to refund me and keep giving me the runaround. Ive never heard of a company upgrading their system for a week now and not being able to provide a return. I would like my refund.Initial Complaint

I placed an order for my wife on 12/8/22, order#********. The order total was $93.50. I received the order the next week, ***** tracking number ************, and half of the product was not in the package. I contacted the business on Wednesday, 12/14, seeking a solution. During this conversation, I was informed that there was nothing that could be done due to system updates, and the updates would be completed in ***** hours. Frustrated by this answer, I requested a manager. I was promised that a manager would call me within 2-3 business days. Today, I had not received the promised manager call back, so I contacted the business again. I spoke with ***, the same representative I had last week, and was provided the same feedback - that their system is updating, that the order cannot be reshipped or refunded, and that a request would be submitted for a manager to call me. This is an unacceptable situation. They charged me for my order and refused to do anything about it arriving incomplete. I find it hard to believe they would update their systems during the busiest shopping season, and I don't accept that nothing can be done.Customer Answer

I have been called several times since 12/8 trying to find out my rewards. Each time Im told it will take ***** hours for the system to update. Now ** told a supervisor isnt available to speak with. Im trying to purchase product, but want to use my rewards if available.Customer Answer

This date order was placed on web was 12/01/2022. a few hours later I called to cancel the order and was told they cannot do that. The order # ******** in the amount of $94.26. Merchandise was cosmetic items.When I called back I changed my mind and didn't want it only asked for them to cancel & not charge my Credit Card. As stated about it was not an option. When I called today 12/9/2022 spoke with ***** who said the same thing as the other rep said on 12/01/2022 that I cannot get a credit back on my credit card as the order shipped and needs to be returned for them to issue a credit. I told her I haven't received my order which was suppose to be delivered on 12/08/2002 and I though it was lost. Our conversation went back and forth saying the same thing I stopped her and ask her if she was a robot and she should listen to me. How can I return something I don't have. She said she understands and the company has to investigate it . This is a bad company to deal with and they are a fraud that money and done give refunds. ******Customer Answer

My husband *************************** purchased me a virtual gift card (order # ********) in the amount of $100.00. The associated order date was August 4, 2022. I went to use the gift card on several occasions but never went through with the purchases. When I tried to finally use the gift card some time in October, I got an error. Something to the effect of the card no longer being valid. I called Bare Minerals' customer service during the week of October 23rd. The customer service representative confirmed the virtual gift card was valid but already had been spent; however, I did not use the gift card (nor anyone else in my household). When attempting to purchase product from website, if cc info is incorrect they place a financial hold in the amount of order on your account as many times as you attempt the transaction. I attempted 5 different times using PayPal, Venmo, and a debit/cc. Their system wouldn't accept v any but kept holding the charges - over $500 in my bank account. It wasn't until 2nd call I found out and able to get order placed with 2 more holds when I specifically stated do not charge my card anymore. (Should be recorded on their audio calls) Supervisor was schedule to call me back within 2hrs. No call for 24hrs. I contacted again next day and supervisor suggested I send an email and screenshot to her manager as feedback. She also said she couldn't help snd that hold will drop off on **** bus days. I placed order on 11/3/22 and now my rent check has bounced due to the $500 held in my bank for a $118 order!Initial Complaint

I returned an item from my order #******** in store (*************** - *********, ** location) on August 4, 2022. I was informed by the sales associate that they do not issue refunds in the store but, rather, she would need to contact bareMinerals customer service on my behalf and arrange the refund. I gave her the product and she called me about 30 minutes later confirming that the return had been processed.I contacted bareMinerals customer service on August 26, 2022 to inquire about the status of my refund. The supervisor, ********, updated me that a refund had been issued back to my original method of payment and that she will be reaching out to her internal department for assistance getting your refund posted to your account. She said that once the return is fixed, she would reach out to let me know. I never received another update from ******** nor did my refund appear.I recontacted bareMinerals customer service on October 15, ******************************************************************* At this point, I have been scheduled for a "call back" but it is very concerning that this company simply cannot issue a refund. I am very disappointed as I have been a customer of ********************** for many years. I purchased a powder foundation order number ******** order date August 20, 2022 that was received damaged. I contacted Bare Minerals and was told to return the item in which I did tracking number **********************. I waited and waited for a refund and never received one. I contacted Bare Minerals customer service a multitude of times and they promised I would get a refund if I waited an allotted time. I waited and waited, in which the window passed, and still no refund. At this time, I am requesting a refund AND a replacement for all the issues I had to experience with the horrendous customer service from ********************. I tried to purchase make-up on their website. After filling out the form preceeding "check out" and putting in my credit card number, a red message came up stating that it could not go through and that I would have to contact my bank for authorization. Tried again with my MasterCard. Same message came up. Called customer service. They advised me to try another card. Put in my **** card. Same message came up. I told her to forget it. Next thing I know, BOTH of my credit cards were charged: **** once and MasterCard twice. These charges are still pending. I was also told that, in fact, Bare Minerals contacted my bank for authorization which was given.My on line research has also shown that MANY customers have problems with this company.Customer Answer
