      My personal experience with the office located at *** ** **** Street on the 2nd floor began the last week in March, 2022. First, they gave me a quick exam to see if they could help me or not. They said they could and after a short wait in their waiting area, they sent me into the finance office where I met with ++++. I filled out some paperwork in black ink, none of which had any cost for these procedures on them, then talked to **** about how I needed for my insurance to pay for this. I gave **** my insurance card and he asked how could I pay for the first 3-4 treatments "just to get things going." I gave him my bank debit card. They gave me my first treatment the same day! At the end of March 2022, I saw a message on my cell phone from a company named ++++++++++ that they had deducted $184.00 from my checking account with a $3,995.00 amount as total cost for the procedures. Where the hell did that come from? I asked **** about this and he just kept saying that when the insurance kicked in It will wipe the $3,995.00 out. (Or whatever the balance is after approval from the claim that he would send in.) 1.) Who applied for a line of credit in my name that I was unaware of? 2) ++++ assured me that he was going to submit my claim to the insurance company. When I questioned him about this he said:" Do you want to know the truth? I submitted your claim but it was denied. We will resubmit it for you again." That was approximately2 months ago. At the time of this writing, it is December 27th, 2022 and I called my insurance company twice about this and they assured me that they do not have any claims submitted by Manhattan Medical Associates for me. 9 months getting treatments and no claim submitted! 3) Remember me signing all forms in black ink? When I asked to see what I signed on my first day there, ++++ gave me a one page Custom Care Plan with $3,995.00 on it for 10 sessions and my signature and initials appear to be carbon copied on it. Never saw this in my life!
