    I booked a event space for a baby shower for May 3rd, when I contacted the owner about the time she gave me for the party and setup, everything changed, The owner whos name is ****** informed me that it was a ****** that was happening earlier and was supposed too end at 6:45, and that I hade too be mindful of the ****** , and that its was no guarantee that they would be out on time. My set up was to begin at 7 oclock, which lab little to no time for a ***** and I went back-and-forth which we were not in agreement with the situation so she offered me a full refund and I accepted and now shes giving me a hard time refunding my money from Friday, May 2 to today May 8, shes giving me the runaround. I have all the information she needs to refund my money in a email as well as text message. I dont see no resolve account.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,


    Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.


    This response is regarding a recent complaint submitted by a client who booked an event at HERSPACE. The client, ***** ****, signed a contract for a specific event date and time. The contract and invoice clearly stated that all payments made were **non-refundable**.


    Closer to the event date, 
    *** **** requested to change the time of her event. While we were not contractually obligated to offer a refund or make accommodations for this change, we made a **courtesy exception** and offered a refund contingent upon the timely return of a signed release form.


    There were significant delays in receiving the properly completed form from *** ***** It was returned multiple times blank or incomplete. Once we received the completed form, we confirmed in writing that her refund would be processed on **May 26, 2025** (ten business days after receipt, in accordance with our internal processing timeline).


    Despite the circumstances, we have acted in good faith and remain committed to honoring that refund on the agreed-upon date. We believe this matter stems not from any wrongdoing on our part, but from a misunderstanding of contract terms and timelines.


    We respectfully request that this be considered as our formal response and clarification of the events.
