I uploaded my ************* bill on April 30th. Received an email that my bill was processed on May the 1st. Here we are on June the 7th and ************* still haven't received payment and I have made 3 out of the 4 payments already. I reached out to deferit 4 times and the 1st 2 times they said it was paid on May 1st and provided the receipt number. The last 2 times they have said a ticket was failed and somebody will get back with me but I haven't received anything letting me know they hangup or the problem as to why my bill hasn't been paid at ******* Power yet. The bill was 139 then and now it's continuing to go up plus late fees because it seems as though I haven't paid my bill.Business Response

I have paid this company ***** to paid my ****** ATT bill, they stated to me that it has been paid. Well that is a lie. My service has been shut off and I had to make the payment myself to get my service restored also was charged a ***** fee for disconnection, and they yet to have paid it or even response to me.Business Response

Responded to customer's email and provided a copy of the transaction receipt. Paid two TmObile bills using deferit each had a pay direct deposit one in the amount ***** and one in the amount of 100. According to their website fdeposit last will be released once bills have been paid. All bills have been paid with no outstanding balances yet they will not release my refunds. The Customer is confused between Pay Extra (she refers as Pay Direct) and Security Deposit. Reached out to customer and explained the difference.
"Pay Extra is when your available limit is insufficient to cover your total bill amount. For example, if your available limit is $100, and your bill amount is $200, for us to be able to pay your bill, you will be adding extra $100 upfront, then the remaining $100 will be divided into four installments.
On the other hand, Security Deposit is required for new account owners who did not meet certain parameters of our account verification process and is fixed to $19.99 amount. This is refundable once you completed your installments for that certain bill, where in your case, Security Deposit is not required."Customer Answer

Deferit is a scam! They hide all sorts of fees that you are not interested in. They claimed they saved me $240 and now expect me to pay them $120 of it but I was not interested in the first place. They should tell you these charges and you should be able to deny or accept them. I dont have an extra $120 for a phone call I could have made myself. Now, I cant cancel because of this charge. I want a refund for my membership and my account deactivated! They are deceiving.Business Response

I was promised a free month of service and never received it. So I signed up anyway and contacted customer service. I was told they would send a request to their back office team for a refund. *** followed up twice and have not received a response. This company lied saying the found $450 in saving and that I would have to pay them half of my saving with I weird. ******* sent me an email telling me that I would be getting a $30 loyal customer discount. This company just hit my bank account for $57. This is after the fact that I emailed them about the same situation. Letting them know that because they lied and are trying to get extra fund from me I did not want there service. I would paying them for the phone bill they paid and thats it. I do not want nor need them negotiating anything for me especially after getting the email from ******* saying something different. I signed up for this service, thinking I could make a timely payment on my utility bill.Well, come to find out, the service could take days to process, unfortunately I do not have that long. They agreed to pay a bill for me online as a courtesy to help me in getting paid asap. HOURS later they finally tell me they didnt have to option to pay the amount I specified and had to pay the amount of $289.56 given on my billers page and asked how I wanted to proceed. I told them to go ahead and pay the $289.55 then and just adjust my last three remaining payments to compensate. Its almost end of business day, and my ******************* shows pending. They simply do not take urgency seriously with paying bills, when youre jumping through hoops to give them what they asked. I have contacted Deferit several times to close the account and they have not done so. I submitted a claim through my bank to stop payment and now Deferit is requesting money to be returned to them from the claim. I initially requested the account be closed several months ago because I no longer use this account and cannot afford to pay for something that I don't use.Business Response
