  I echo all of the reviews here in that management is awful and engages in shady behavior. This pertains specifically to the ********** location. The personal trainers routinely engage in unethical and unprofessional behavior creating a toxic environment. Management does nothing and blames the paying customer who calls out such behavior. Management also monitors member's behavior and social media outside of the gym. In the situation I was involved in, rather than approaching the issue trying to learn what had caused certain things, management injected itself into private manner assuming it knew all the facts in the situation (which it does not). Management holds members to a higher standard than its employees and is completely biased in fact-finding scenarios. On top of that, when I posted **** reviews they continually worked with **** to have them taken down and have my account banned. I've never seen an "innocent" company work so hard to silence free speech when they think they are in the right. Unamerican.

  They provided me with falsified information about their introductory deal and claimed that I would not be charged until November 2024, when in fact I was charged in October 2024. I cannot recommend a business that provides false information to their clients regarding paying dues. However, outside of that everything else at Equinox has been stellar. I wish they would stop practicing shady business in how they communicate their introductory deals.

  It was good gym, but they are frauds, I canceled the membership in April 2024 but they kept on charging me monthly fee. I didn’t check and now I saw the credit card charges and they keep on charging and when I tried to talk to the manager. He doesn’t pick up the phone. They charged me almost $1000.00. They are big frauds.

  They failed to freeze my membership and continued to charge me for two consecutive months. I had to reach out numerous times and finally was told that my account would receive a credit to offset the following month. Although this happened, because of the issues, they overcharged me in the month that I wasn't even supposed to pay. Months of back and forth with management, names starting with J's, and they were helpless. Would not recommend this place. Very expensive and the management is terrible.

  I was planning on joining the Equinox gym in ********* ** back in November 2023. **** in sales took my credit card information through texting. Said I only had some many days to use the special 3 day pass they gave me. I was busy so never used the facilities, I never signed a contract and they went ahead and charged me. I told them to stop and they ignored me charging another month. I had to contact my credit card company to block them. Back and forth email dealing with *******************. Now its mid February and its still not resolved. I have been more than patient with them. They are God awful. I wanted to join the gym to alleviate stress but quite the opposite they made my life unnecessarily stressful and they dont care.

  Scam!******************* engages in deceptive business practices. The salesman said I could quit at any time. He also said there was free laundry service, which was a lie. Laundry costs extra.When I tried to leave for a better, cheaper gym, the manager at Equinox informed me that they had conned me into signing a 12-month membership. This means Equinox will defraud me of nearly $3,000. Do not join this gym. They will lie to get you to join. And then they will lock you into an expensive, undisclosed 12-month contract.

  Cannot get ahold of the manager, I emailed her 4 time trying to cancel my membership. She is always busy. I wouldn't join this gym if they paid me. No one is helpful. I have called over 20 times to try and get this resolved. 1 star for this business is very generous. Do not join here.

  Equinox is the most predatory, horrible gym ever RUN don't walk away. The staff is incredibly rude and they charged my partner for a 6 week training program without his authorization. When we tried to have a conversation with them about it, they refused to take responsibility for miscommunication on their end, and even when we let them know we do not have the budget, they were intent on keeping us in the contract. I wish we never joined and you will too. I recommend finding a moderately priced gym with the amenities you desire that has better customer service.

  Terrible management. I cancelled my membership in person, with a membership advisor who told me when my last day of use would be. The card I used was managed by another person so I did not know my I was still being charged. When I did become aware of this I contacted the club immediately and was told it would be handled, they updated a new card for the refund, they even offered an apology. The following day a manager reneged on this via email and said they required proof of correspondence for my cancellation. Since I was not given any paperwork, which was the mistake of the membership advisor, I had no proof. The manager put all the blame on me instead of the incompetence of the membership advisor.
