    I ordered a 1 year subscription (spanning parts of 2021 & 2022) and received all my shipments on time, nothing was ever missing. I found it easy to see the notice prior to purchase that this would auto renew if I didn't proactively cancel before hand, canceling was easy and no further charges were made to my credit card, so I think many people experience issues because they aren't paying attention and just clicking through without reading clearly stated information (wasn't even in the "fine print"!). Most subscriptions auto-renew if not cancelled within a certain time before the renewal date, so to claim this practice is out of the usual or scammy by HAK is unwarranted. The storylines, evidence and pacing were all very good. You can tell there was obviously an effort to ensure the quality of the game was high, to make the physical "evidence" items, clues and characters as realistic and engaging as possible. I think they were easier to solve than I was expecting but overall very enjoyable nonetheless. Kudos to the teams that create these kits and everything that goes into them!

    I had a similar issue as others have had. I used a gift card and got my boxes for a year. They automatically renewed it bc it asked me for a card whenever I signed up. However, the card they used was canceled and was no longer active. I even received an email that said my card was declined yet they still somehow charged me and said they would not refund me. I had even sent at least three emails asking them to please cancel it and didn't receive an email back for a few weeks. I don't think this is a very good way of doing business. You also can ONLY contact them through email which to me is very odd.

    this company is a scam.. i got for my daughter for Christmas last year and now I get s 300 dollar charge on my credit card for a renewal I never asked for and never received an email telling me that they are renewing my subscription . I have spoken to them and they said they indeed sent the email. well I never delete my emails so I check in box, trash, and spam folders and no email from them.. they better refund me my money....DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY wish there was a minus 5 stars thats what they deserve.. I have a call in to the company manager if they don't call back today I will go thru my american express card and have it reversed.

    I've heard a lot about this company in regards to how much fun their product line is, so I decided to purchase the 6 month prepaid set. I ordered this set on December 12th. Two days later, I received a shipping notification that my package was on the way. After 7 days, the product was routed through my hometown and then back to the original shipping location. After contacting the shipper, they claimed they do not have a package but the label was created. I contacted the email from the Hunt-a-Killer website on December 22 in regards to this issue. I was met with no reply. I emailed again on December 25 as a follow-up and still no reply. I also messaged their company Facebook page. No reply. If they cannot send the product that I purchased, I'd like my money back. Terrible (non-existent) customer service.

    Place an order Dec 5, paid in full at time of order. Estimated shipping was 12/6 - but 2 weeks later, the item has not shipped. I have attempted to contact the email provided on their website and with my confirmation email multiple times, they have not returned any of my requests. The website says they will respond the next business day, I have been emailing them every day for a week now and I have not received one single response.

    DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY- I ordered a game that they advertise as a "3 month subscription." Now they do not tell you that this is a self renewing subscription. The way they word the purchase makes it seem like the single game comes in a series of shipments over 3 months with a total of 6 episodes. Thus making it seem as though purchasing this particular game is a single payment. Nope.. I was charged $117 for half of a game LOL. Well... I start getting charged every 3 months for a self renewing subscription and e-mails excitedly telling me my order is on the way! Oh... here is the best part.. they don't even offer a 3 month subscription.. yet here I am being charged $117 every 3 months. It's ridiculous. They make it seem like you can purchase these games without subscribing but you can't.

    I reached out and asked them to please refund the charges which they did quickly... or so they claimed. Today.. a refund posted to my account for $0. Very cool, Hunt a Killer.

    I purchased the first series. For $176.55, this included 6 episodes. Fine, I was underwhelmed with the product thought I was done with it. I just received another box then CC charged again!! I NEVER consented to a subscription!!!! I have tried to call, all numbers are bogus, no answer just message or mailbox is full. Tried to email don't get a response. I'm so sick of being scammed. I don't want the game. Just want my money back. My crappy CC won't help me either. Never again!! I will be sure to let everyone on FB and all social media to not buy this product!!!
