    I received an AirBnb gift card on 5/17/23 as a gift from my daughter for $250.00. I am trying to book a trip and attempted to open the link on the card which is from Launch.com and was informed I did not have authorization to open it. Multiple emails later still unable to open the link. Im requesting a refund for this gift card.

    Our team received your support request received on January 6, ****. The support ticket was answered and received no response, so the ticket was closed. Had there been a reply our team can provide additional support. 

    The gift card was redeemed into an Airbnb account on Jan. 6, ****, 8:38 p.m. UTC. Once a gift card is redeemed into an account we are unable to offer a refund.

    I got an Airbnb gift card for 150 and never received it. Not an email not a text. anything.

    I received a gift card in the amount of $50 for Door Dash gift card on September 30, 2023. I attempted to redeem the card but the funds were not added to my account. I contacted Door Dash about the problem to which they stated they could not help and referred me to Launch Gift Cards. Launch Gift cards responded on Dec 8, 2023 the card had been redeemed and would no longer assist.

    Purchased 2 separate gift cards from the Airbnb site. Rec'd confirmation on both . One was rec'd by email but not the other. Tried all customer service#'s 6 different times as well as emailing them. No one can help. They tell me they can't use the confirmation # they sent me. Terrible customer service & most do not speak English well.

    On August 22 I contacted what I thought was Apple Support for an issue I was having. I ****** customer service and hit the 1st link that popped up and called the number ************** I was checking on purchases that I did not recognize. I was asked if I could download an app that would give him access to my phone. They said they would be able to tell where these purchases came from. I thought this was weird and looked at the site and it looked legit so I allowed him access to my phone. He asked me to open up my Apple Wallet so I could send myself a Airbnb gift card for $499. I told him no - how about a $1.00 transaction. He said Airbnb would not allow a purchase of $1, I should have known better and ended the call. He then had me do a few things on my phone to keep me busy. I suspect he was charging my card while I was doing all these steps he asked me to do. I then asked if he was really from Apple and he was persistent he was and asked me to not hang up that he had already reversed the charges. I still hung up and became very suspicious. About 2 minutes later I received a text from my bank about suspicious charges were made on my **** card. I then knew immediately I got hacked. I then contacted my credit card company and they confirmed 6 attempts for $499 were charged on my card and two of them went through. I immediately removed the card from my Apple Wallet, deleted the App he asked me to download, changed my passcode, turn off facial ID, The charges on my credit card were under* ********** Gift Cards" charges for $499. I suspect this is how he made the purchases, in my apple wallet. I contacted my credit card company and they would not remove 2 charges as they have to investigate and would take 2-3 weeks before I would know the outcome. So now I am out of $998 and got hacked/ scammed. I am so mad at myself as I knew better but by then the damage had occurred.

    ALERT!!!!!I was scammed! Someone used the door dash app for $100 twice on 4/17/23, between the hours of 10 am to 12:30 pm. The scam artist pretended he was helping me to correct fraudulent activity on one of my debit cards issued through my bank checking account. Unfortunately, his nice manners made me believe he was truly helping me to correct the matter, but instead he stealthily got info from me that gave him authorization to pull $58 from one account and $300 from another. I still have to check with *******************Mastercard credit card to make sure he will not try to withdraw cash from this credit card. I called Cash APP and was able to recover $149 immediately after the so-called representative from Mastercard told me he would call me back. He was frustrated because I could not take a selfie on my iPad and said he would call back. I should have been suspicious, but his sincere tone and vocabulary would have fooled others, Im sure. I divulged two debit card accounts information, one credit card info and my drivers license front and back information. Sounds really stupid of me and it is, but I believe there are good people in this world. Unfortunately, I dealt with the devil himself! I am a retired teacher, 66 years old, who is honest, is an upstanding citizen, believes In God and has hope for a better world. I live alone with my puppy, *** and two kitties named **** and *************. I am happy with my accomplishments in life and how I contributed to my community as a good teacher. Why would anyone do such a horrible thing to me? Please help me recover the money from my teacher pension I worked so hard to earn. Call me at any time on my cell phone, ************.     I was looking to buy a ray-ban gift card that I can use on ********** or ray-ban stores. ************** was selling $100 ray-ban gift cards so I decided to buy it from them. On their website they do not mention anything about the fact that these gift cards are only redeemable on *************** so one would definitely think that he is buying a ray-ban gift card that can be used on ***********. After the purchase is finalized they send you the gift card and make it clear that you can only use the ray-ban gift card on the **************!!! After receiving the email I immediately contacted them and explained the situation. The customer service agent (***************************) issued a ticket and assured me that I would receive the full refund within the 2 business days. After two business days that I did not receive my refund I contacted them and ask for an update and this time the agent said I have to contact a third party seller called ****************** which somehow sells gift cards on their website?! I contacted the ******************* and asked them to get a refund due to the misleading and false advertisement on their website and they got back to me saying that based on their terms of use their gift cards are non-refundable and I should contact ************** for further assistance. The terms of use are only valid if the company do not mislead the customer and not falsely advertise the product. The way they are advertising the ray-ban gift card is deceptive, making the buyer think that the gift card is a ray-ban gift card and there is no indication that this gift card can only be used on galssesusa.com. I would not return a ray-ban gift card if I could use it on ********** or ray-ban stores therefore I did not have any problem with the terms of use at the time of purchase.Here is the order #*******************

The GlassesUSA website used to purchase clearly states ******* Gift Card: This card can be used to purchase any ******* eyeglasses & sunglasses on the GlassesUSA site. Additionally the website states eGift Cards may be redeemed at ************** exclusively and not refundable under the Terms and Conditions.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

    The terms and conditions this business is referring to is only valid if the explanation of the product that they are selling is not deceptive. As I mentioned in my complaint the way this gift card is advertised is misleading and make the customer think that it can be used on **********/stores. However after the purchase is made the email that they send makes it clear that the card can only be used on **************. That is why I immediately contacted ************** after receiving the email and asked for a refund. The snapshot of the page they have attached is definitely not the page I made my the purchase from because that page did not have any explanation about the limitation of this gift card.

    The fact that the business is so persistent about not providing a refund for a product that is unused and the customer is not satisfied with clearly is showing the lack of customer service.

    I ordered $200 from launch (which Uber eats uses as a third party) I received an email with confirmation #and the recipient never received the card. There is no customer service number and they do not respond to emails

    *********************** ******************* was placed on November 10th by ********************. All confirmation emails and order information was sent to this email provided at time of purchase. The purchaser receives a copy of the gift card in the confirmation email that they may forward to the recipient, if necessary. The gift card was sent to the recipient email address provided by the purchaser, ***************************. 


    While we do not offer phone support, the purchaser successfully contacted our support team via email on November 10, 2022 stating the gift card had not been received. Unfortunately our team is unable to control corporate spam filters, but we can resend the gift to a new email address if one is provided. However, the purchaser shared the gift card link with the recipient and the gift card had been redeemed.


    The purchaser was informed the gift card had been opened and redeemed into an Uber user account on 11/11/2022 1:09:06 AM UTC. Once a gift card is redeemed into a user account, our team is unable to assist further as we are a separate team and do not have access to user account information.
