Since 11/27/24, I've been trying to have my information removed from their website and though they state that we are able to, they've been denying my request repeatedly. Stating that it's their right to list (and sell) my information without consent or permission which I find problematic and a violation of my rights to privacy. According to ******, they can choose to honor my request or not but have no basis for their decision making. I should not have to beg or explain why I personally and professionally don't want to be listed on their website as though I'm affiliated with them. Such poor and pathetic business practice.Customer Answer

I have completed survey for Medscape, incorporated in *** and owned by WebMD. The time spent to complete the survey are compensated - usually via ****** gift cards. This has been working very well until the beginning of March. I currenly have about 15 gift cards that I have earned totaling over $800 that I cannot redeem from Medscape. The message I receive is that they need me to complete a W-9 form since my earnings exceed $500. They have sent my a 1099 form last and have my W-9 on file. Nonetheless, I completed a new W-9. However, no address on email contact given to send it to. No one answers a phone call in person, and automated message state to submit all customer service issues to the company via email. I have done this several times over the past two weeks. They confirm that they have received these emails, but no respond yet on how to resolve. This is a very simple request and should no be a problem to respond. My fear is this company is in financial trouble on going out of business. Can you provide any information or perhaps reach out to them to resolve this issue. I am owed over $ 800 and feel there is no way to collect it. Thank you for looking into this.Regards ***** ***** ************ - email = *********************Customer Answer

I had an extremely disappointing experience with WebMD. The service provided was far below expectations and offered no value for the money spent. I feel misled about the cancellation terms, as the exact details were not communicated transparently. When I attempted to cancel within what I believed was the appropriate period, I was informed I was outside the cancellation window. The entire process felt deceptive and left me feeling as though I had been taken advantage of.The customer service was particularly poor, marked by a lack of professionalism and responsiveness. After three attempts to reach the manager regarding my cancellation concerns, she finally responded, but only after an unreasonably long delay. My previous messages were clearly being ignored, leaving me feeling dismissed and undervalued as a customer. When I did speak with the manager, her response was insincere and unhelpful. She simply reiterated the companys rigid policies without addressing my concerns, offering no meaningful solutions or empathy for my situation.Given the lack of transparency and the poor customer service I received, I believe I am entitled to a full refund for the service. I paid for a service that was misrepresented, poorly delivered, and ultimately of no value to me. The companys unwillingness to resolve the issue or provide any kind of compensation only compounds the dissatisfaction I feel. This lack of accountability and effort to resolve issues is unacceptable. Its clear your company prioritizes locking customers into contracts over providing a quality service or ensuring customer satisfaction. The entire experience was frustrating, and I regret ever engaging with this service.I would not recommend WebMD to anyone. The lack of transparency, poor customer service, and inability to provide value makes WebMD one I cannot trust.Customer Answer

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against you and your company regarding the continuous unsolicited calls I have been receiving from your team, despite my clear request to stop. On April 3, 2025, I sent an email to you with the subject "Stop!" requesting that you cease all communication with me regarding your marketing campaign, as seen in the email chain below.Despite this clear request, I have continued to receive phone calls from WebMD, which I find not only frustrating but also a violation of my right to privacy. The repeated and unwanted calls, despite my explicit request to cease contact, constitute harassment.I am requesting that WebMD immediately cease all phone calls and communication to my business. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and report this matter to the ************************ (***) for violation of consumer protection laws.Initial Complaint

I run an *******************. I was convinced to enter a 6-month agreement to be listed with Web MD. I would like me contract terminated immediately and to be refunded for the months that I've already paid. My rational for this (even though we have a 6-month contract) is:I was sold a product that is not suitable for me-Their websites are designed for doctors not ABA therapists. They knew (or should have known) that their product was worthless to me.ABA, Applied Behavior Analysis, and the company cant be searched, my company is not found unless someone stumbles on it.The results that were supplied by the company is pathetic. The customer service was not ok. I NEVER received responses to my emails without following up on them. They arranged a meeting and told me they would send the current results (such as web traffic...)After reviewing the pathetic results, I contacted them that I would like my contract terminated immediately. They did not respond (it's been almost 2 weeks since)Initial Complaint

I am receiving multiple calls daily from this company. They are calling my personal cell and also the receptionist at the front desk at my practice. I have even had one person tell my front office that they would wait on hold for over ************************************* I have blocked numbers on my cell and they continue to get through by posing as a local number. They will leave messages on my voicemail stating that they need me to call them back urgently and only leave a first name. I have asked repeatedly for them to take me off their call list and I am told that it is impossible for them to do such a thing. How is it that a company is able to harass with solicitation and not be held accountable to normal privacy laws?Initial Complaint

I am the office manager with Bridge to Health Chiropractic in *********, **. We have been constantly harassed by WebMD despite continuous attempts to be removed from their call list. The most recent call occurred on 12/10/24 around 3:00pm. They insist to speak with a Doctor in which they are with other patients. They said they need to speak to a doctor to "approve a change request." This is the same phrase they use in multiple calls they have made to us. I let them know that we do not approve any changes and to please remove us from their call list. They are very rude to my front desk receptionist and continue to insist speaking with a doctor directly. I am just wanting them to stop calling and harassing my front desk receptionists and leave our company alone.Initial Complaint

The office has been receiving calls from WEBMD, stating that there has been a change to the listing for the doctor, and that they need to verify the change. When asked what is the change as the doctor is with patients, they state that they can only verify the change with the doctor, not even the office manager. When asking more about this "change", they then state that they are wanting to ask the doctor about becoming a preferred doctor on the site. When asking the *** about this more, they then state they are going to collect the ratings from other websites, and ask the doctor about the practice and then decide if the doctor qualifies for being "preferred", all of which a office manager can handle. They state that they are not selling anything, but when he ***s that are told that they cannot speak to the doctor tend to hang up abruptly.Customer Answer

I have been harassed since 2022 with apparently this company that partner up with WebMD to get you to pay for a software and increase your SEO, and apparently recommend your clinic and business to another MDs in the area and give you a better online presence. I went through the whole spearhead and thanks god that I looked online and saw all the complaints. Please, dont sign up with this company. They keep calling me after telling them to not call me anymore and they call me to my mobile phone. It is a harassment at this point.
