      Received a call from a man named *** from WebMD, wanting to schedule a zoom to discuss our account with **********************. We have been a "recommended provider" for several years, which is paid for. After several minutes it became clear that he was trying to sell us an upgrade to become an exclusive provider in are area. When I thanked him for the call and told him that we were not interested, he became hostile and replied, "There is no need to thank me. I charge $300/hr for my consulting and we've been on the phone for 20 minutes. Where would you like me to send the bill?" I terminated the call due to his aggressiveness and then received multiple phone calls for the next several minutes which I did not answer. Later that day I received the following text, "We write to inform you, that , regrettably, your practice will not be featured as a recommended provider on WebMD, or its Subsidiary, Vitals. Reason: Lack of respect and failure to complete interview. 17 Demerit points." - Seriously? This from a company that has a D- rating with the BBB. Clearly the company needs some new leadership!

      I am a physician and a negative review was written about me. However, the person that wrote the review was not a patient of mine which violates the terms of leaving the review. The patient was a disgruntled employee at a doctor's ****** where I was actually the patient. I have looked online regarding the process to begin to remove the review. It suggests to go to the "request to remove review form" but I can not actually find this form anywhere. I have tired calling various numbers and to send an email to the address listed on the site which is *************** and this was sent back to me as the email address is not able to be found or is not accepting emails. There is no clear way to reach out to anyone to have help and it is time sensitive as I am actively applying for jobs.

      This site is publishing my personal identify able information after multiple requests to change it to be my work details. My address as well as personal phone number is published because of which I am receivng a lot of spam and I am also worried about myself and my family security as my home address on is now on public domain. Any assistance to get the information updated with work details(shared with the business already) or removed completely (latter is preferred), it will be much appreciated.

      I signed an advertising contract with WebMD in October of 2022. The first payment was auto-deducted from my account on 10/19/2022. The contract was for 6 months at $150 per month. I was told by *************************, the person who sold this contract to me, that my ad would be displayed at the top of the screen and would be embedded in WebMD articles. I have repeatedly searched WebMD and have not found my ad anywhere. In addition, WebMD operates the advertising engine Vitals. I was told that my ad would have a favored place with ******. I have repeatedly searched for myself on Vitals. The Vitals listing is either not found, or is found after several scrolls. My Vitals ad is so far down the list that people will undoubtedly give up before they find me. My account manager is ***********************. I have sent him emails and have left phone messages asking what I can do to improve the performance of my ad. He has not responded since 1/24/23 when I asked him to cancel my advertising contract and he told me no. He has not given me any help to improve the performance of my **** can advertise on my own for free. By paying $150/month I expected to have the benefit of professional expertise to make my business shine on the internet. This most certainly did NOT happen. I am paying $150 per month for no benefit. I have a very small practice because of my health problems and cannot afford to pay $150 per month without seeing a return on my investment. I want to be released from my WebMD advertising contract as of 2/1/2023 and I want a refund of all the money I paid to WebMD. The total paid so far is $450.Thank you for your help in this matter.

      On March 25, 2022, I wrote a review on a therapist. I would like to delete that review but there is no way for me to do so. I contacted Webmd and they completely ignored me. I would like for them to delete my review that Ive written. They allow for patients to easily write reviews but theres no way for the patient to edit or delete their own review. I need my review deleted as soon as possible.

      I have not asked or approved web md to list information about me or where I practice. They have listed me as "Dr.", which I am not. And more bothersome is they have posted my home address. I DO NOT want current or potential patients knowing my home address. That puts my safety at risk.

      On October 20th I contacted WEBMD to make a purchase, I provided all relevant information requested. They state the product ships in one day. After three days it had not shipped, I contacted them three times to find out why it hadn't shipped, they stated at that time I needed to send a selfie, but the original choices were State ID (drivers license) or a selfie. I send a copy of my drivers license. After four days I requested a refund, but they denied it stating they don't give refunds. So I have not received the product or my money back! They refuse a refund, while keeping the product.

      On 8-4-2022, I noticed that our medical practice was listed incorrectly on the WebMD Care site. It had providers who are not (and have never been) part of our office listed. It listed false information about one of our providers. It says we accept insurances we have never heard of. It has us practicing in multiple locations when we have one. It says we speak more than English, which is not true. And it identified us with three specialties, one of them being pain management which appeals to people seeking narcotics. I tried to "claim" the profile, as the office manager, as I have done for many other sites listing our information. It gave me a form to fill out, and then wouldn't allow me to edit anything, but said someone would call me. Someone called me right away and basically told me that we would have to pay them money to update or change anything on the profile, otherwise we are stuck with it. They also mentioned an association with Vitals.com during this call, and when I went out to Vitals, they have the same exact form to fill out to claim your business. I didn't do it. These are manipulative and dishonest practices, in my opinion. We didn't ask to be listed on WebMD Cares, nobody asked us for our correct information, and they refuse to correct it without us paying. That's extortion! They are demanding money to properly list us online, when we didn't ask to be part of their site in the first place. Disheartening from a company so many people go to for trusted information.
