    I am a therapist and I recommend everyone avoid this company. They are so automated, there is no support. I am leaving because they gave me wrong information which created a payday postponement. They refuse to correct it, I wont get paid for 2 weeks and wont be able to buy food or pay rent. If this is how they treat providers, I can only imagine what clients go through. They have no support team, its all bots and pre written scripts. They are just here to collect money and set up a pyramid scheme: all they do is email us to bring in more therapists to headway. Why? You offer nothing. There is no one here. Even their response to these reviews are all automated scripts!

    Update to my previous review. I strongly encourage anyone from using this platform. Despite repeated requests, they refused to contact my insurance provider to confirm coverage, even though they advertise themselves as an insurance-friendly platform. As a result, I was charged nearly $700 to my personal credit card, which they require for service, for sessions they screwed up on filing the insurance for (filing with a completely different company)When I raised concerns, I was met with dismissiveness rather than support. I have since learned that many others have experienced similar issues, and I believe this constitutes a pattern of deceptive practices. I am currently speaking with lawyers, exploring the possibility of a class action lawsuit. Consumers deserve transparencyespecially in healthcare.

    My insurance company is requesting records in order to pay claims. Instead of working with the provider to provide the necessary information, they just sent me an email saying my insurance company is out of network, which is not true. Now they are trying to send me bills to pay the full cost of the service. They didnt even catch the issue with the insurance, I reached out to them because I noticed the claims were not getting paid. Had i not caught this issue, who knows when they wouldve noticed it. Additionally, I asked them to not charge me while I work to get the insurance company the requested documentation from the therapist. Sure enough they still charged my account this morning but I dont have enough money to pay what they are trying to charge me! So no ***** period to work things out with the insurance, no offer of a payment plan. Just charging hundreds of dollars to someones account.

    I booked with a lady in ***********. I have not seen her since January 2025. It is now may. I received an email that I was billed incorrectly and was charged 385. And I payed my ******. Do not use this company.

    Headway is a scam. My insurance company records indicate that they were charging me over $600 per 1/2 hour for 3 sessions and rejected all three claims. Now headway wants me to pay $1800 dollars for a nurse practitioner. They dont have a phone number, so I have to go back and forth via email. Stay far away from this company! They are committing insurance fraud.

    Absolutely terrible company. They had me resolve an insurance issue. I provided a ref# and advised they said insurance would pay in 30 days. I received notice it was resolved and the issue was closed. Fast forward to day 20 when I get notice they are charging my card for full services. No one will speak to it. All helpdesk tickets that go round and round. More stress than theyre worth. Ive seen so many bad reviews that *** cancelled my credit card and future appointments.

    Absolutely horrible company, they have no idea how to communicate with patients, especially patients with mental health issue's. They do not take secondary insurance, so if you have a secondary you have to pay the primary copay and then download your superbill and submit to your secondary. I work for the union and my primary and secondary are the same, my secondary has been picking up what primary doesn't but the headway company is still charging me, how is this even legal? This is double dipping, when confronted about the issue I was told to contact my insurance company and *** later still have not heard back form headway.
