I subscribed to Daily Burn last year. My card was charged $149.99 at renewal time. I submitted a request for a refund on Friday 7/12/2024, as I cannot use the subscription due to health limitations. This request is well within the 30-day limit. I haven't gotten a response yet.

I want to warn parents of ************* practices conducted by Care.com. While preparing my taxes today I found a surprise charge on my credit card for $155.00 from "cci*.com". What is "cci*.com", I thought? I searched online; turns out it is Care.com, a site we used to help find babysitters on several occasions when our children were particularly young. Turns out too Care.com was acquired by IAC in 2020.I logged into my care.com account and could not find a way to cancel future charges, nor find billing history, which necessitated chatting with a representative. After a 20 minute wait, a rep came on. We discovered that the last intentional charge on my card was in 2019; next was 2022 for $124 and again in 2023 for $155, a 20% increase. Why was my card charged, I asked. Turns out I signed up for a subscription that kept auto-renewing and (pasted from chat): "please be informed, that all paid membership subscriptions...will continue indefinitely until canceled by the user." Indefinitely. Infinitely, as in until our children are in college? Starting their own families? Way past needing their services? To his/her credit, the rep did cancel the subscription without hassle.I asked the rep, why I was not notified my card would be charged? He/she said I was notified. I then fished out of my spam folder a confusing email from care.com full of hyperlinked code; buried in it was the notification. The rep added, "Care.com does not auto-upgrade an account...members will have to agree with the subscription disclosure." In other words, all those years ago when you were desperate to find a baby sitter, you agreed we don't ever have to get your consent to take your money. In summary, these are the shady practices of a company that's lost its footing, that's lost sight of its mission to help protect and nurture our kids. Instead of, how can we make your life easier, it's didn't you read the fine print?

I stopped subscribing to Daily Burn in 2017. Never been back. All of a sudden after 6 years, Daily Burn pinged a card they shouldn't even have access to twice in one day with zero dollar charges. I emailed customer support and they confirmed I haven't had an account in 2017, but then start telling me I must have an account somewhere if the card is being pinged and they're asking me for type of card, last four digits and I don't like that at all because someone there is either trying to access an unauthorized card without permission or someone is trying to hack into an account

I rejoined Daily Burn only to find out days later that the trainers and main spokesperson were all fired. The company was no longer providing a key experience of the platform. There was zero transparency or warning. The company itself has said nothing and they have treated the ****************** terribly by limiting posts or deleting them. I have asked for a refund or my subscription due to improper advertising and lack of company accountability. They will not provide me a refund.

I had the exact same experience as CJ D: "Writing regarding my terrible experience with ********. I thought I was subscribing for one month for $12.99 and it went through as $155.00 for a year's subscription on my bank account. I immediately canceled within five minutes. I was told that ******** will not refund it. That is not their policy. I feel taken in by a scam and very unhappy and lost any respect for ******** or ******** ** ****** ***. Will never, ever use their site again nor will I trust them or give them any good reviews." ******** fits my description of a SCAM. I request the BBB's aid in getting a refund. I also request that their rating be lowered to an F.

This Daily-Burn.com is a site that offers downloads of ebooks. It says it will give you ebook downloads for 30 days if you pay $1.00. I paid the $1.00 with a credit card. They charged my card $1.00 the first day and charged my card $59.99 on the second day. It never allowed me log in or download a book. This site is a total scam and I have called in an unauthorized charge on my card. I had to cancel this card so this would not continue to happen. Beware of the Daily-Burn.com site.
