    I actually enjoy using this service to pay rent, even opting to get their credit card. However, their phone customer service can be quite abysmal. I called in today to inquire about my available credit as well as my outstanding balance not updating. Spoke to a representative named ****** who was extremely graceless. Aside from her lack of basic decency, was just extremely *****. When I called out her pettiness, she tried to reframe it against me even though I had been nothing but courteous, speaking over me and abruptly hanging up the call. Ive had brief interactions with a couple of agents and theyve been decent so I hate having to write about negativity as I usually opt to highlight positive experiences instead but this specific interaction was quite jarring. Im new to their credit card, so perhaps I was too accustomed to the level of service my other cards provide that has always been quite top notch, but that is why this experience was so terrible in contrast. For example, when I asked why my available credit hadnt been updated, she said the payment was on a float without explanation, as if I was meant to understand their own language. When I asked why the outstanding balance wasnt updating, she shared that its updated on her end with no attempt to aid in my customer experience. When I shared the amount I can see on my end, she went on saying how theres a lot more and going off on a tangent naming every single transaction like that was helpful, while clearly being condescending. I am fully aware of my own transactions, my issue was with the technical aspect of them not showing on my end and she failed basic comprehension and decency. If anything, this just makes me grateful for my other credit cards and their respective customer service and will likely stop using this card outside of the necessity of paying rent which is only because of my property management using them.

    This Company *****! I have made payment to them and they state that they never received it. even thought my bank states they did. I received late fees for paying early. that is crazy! it is also crazy that these company's get always with burning people for thousands of dollars. USER BEWARE!! Try to not us this company for any payments.

    This company is absolute garbage and should not be allowed to handle any amount of money, ESPECIALLY not thousands of dollars. ******* and ********* (along with many other rental complex corps.) exclusively use this system for collecting rent, and it's preposterous that I'm sending off a large portion of my income to a completely opaque company without any process for recourse within the actual company. Every month, ~somehow~ my check always bounces when I pay through the app, yet I can easily cut a live check and provide it to the front office and somehow that one goes through. BILT charges you a late fee and an NSF fee every time your rent bounces (which shouldn't have been an issue to begin with since I pay my rent on time and in full), and for some reason, the front office can't clear the *** charges, NO ONE has a phone number to ANYONE in the company to contact for the issue, and WHEN, NOT IF you have an issue with the app, the app and "customer service" will tell you "your leasing office has limited your ability to pay through the app" (remember, the EXCLUSIVE WAY TO PAY YOUR RENT), but when you bring it to the front office, they show you that it's actually BILT. Calculating up every month that they've charged me extra for my "late fees" and "NSF Fees" (the same late fees that the front office has to remove every month because I do in fact pay on time - these are the fees they can reverse IF you give them enough evidence to show you did in fact pay your rent on time, which I do), I could pay an entire month's rent just on that credit alone. The rewards are garbage; I could ~maybe~ buy a meal at a mid-scale restaurant after giving this company almost three quarters of a year of my rent charges. If you're going to have a rewards system to 'incentivize paying rent', then the incentives (I guess having a roof over my head isn't enough??) shouldn't be the equivalent of a small fry from ********** Dollar Menu every month. Complete waste of any rental company's time.

    Cant get ahold of customer service, long wait times, cant use a **** card unless you want to pay a $44 fee. The most COMMON card is a ****. Long verification process for bank if its not a bank on plaid. No timeframe for verification process. Absolutely HATE that my apartment complex switched to this company for a rent portal.

    They charged me twice because I made an independent payment on my own to my rental company without using them and yet they think they can still take a fever that because it's tied to my rental account. When I reach out to them they just make excuses and they act like they deserve the fee for processing transactions having to do with my rental even though the transaction did not go through their company. So now every time I pay a portion of rent on my own without using them they charge me a transaction fee anyway, which is absurd, since they have nothing to do with it and I'm not going through them. When I've reached out to have them refund that and cancel those processing fees they say they will look into it and then never get back to you.

    ****************************** Their failure to hide exorbitant processing fees / horrible disclosure of their fees on Bilt Rewards website. Very displeased with our building property manager in choosing this service. I would not recommend this website.

    On average, if you're making a rent payment with a third party credit card or debit card other than the Bilt Mastercard, there is an additional 3% fee for credit cards and a flat fee of $9.95 for debit cards. It is also possible that a property may apply different fees for these payment methods. Please note that the card processing fees are displayed under your payment summary before submitting your rent payment.If you live at a ************* property, you can avoid these fees on future payments by linking your bank account and selecting it as your payment method.

    When you enroll in rent reporting, we open a tradeline on your credit. A tradeline is just an account included on your credit report. Each lease will open once you are enrolled and close once we are done reporting that lease according to the dates you enter. Once your lease ends, we closed that trade on your credit.

    Non-stop spam! Terrible user experience. Why do I suddenly have to use this system that is constantly trying to sell me a credit card? It is a huge annoyance. I hate this system and have a hard time imaging why my Landlord decided to implement it, unless they're getting some kind of kick back? The whole thing smells super fishy and scammy.

    I had a terrible experience where they withdrew two rent payments from my bank account. After a long fight with my bank, I got one of the payments reversed. But it didnt end there three days later, the app refunded my original rent payment, making it seem like I hadn't paid at ****** a result, I was charged a $100 NSF (non-sufficient funds) fee and a $150 late fee by my leasing office, even though I paid on time. They refused to reverse these fees, despite it clearly being their error. This whole ordeal has negatively impacted my rental credit, and I've never had a late payment or NSF fee before.On top of that, my personal bank account started bouncing transactions due to this mix-up.This app is untrustworthy and has caused me a lot of stress and financial trouble. Do not use it!

    never recommend to anyone it is a third party credit card smh i got charged doubled and they wouldn't refund my charges and said i need to give them a different bank account number to get my refund since it automatically rejects return to the same card which makes no sense and they add random interest on your account even if you pay all your bills in full also they dont have a real human costumer service number? all is done through email which is annoying
