    Absolutely awful. My building management company hyped this app to get great rewards for paying your rent. The app is the worst, after setting it up and paying my rent once I have been unable to log on again to change my account. No phone for customer service. Ive emailed at least a dozen times and they obviously dont know how to fix this and the last response was unbelievable-they actually asked for my bank account info so they can fix it. Its just a fraud to nickel and dime you and they cant manage their business.

    S***** company that parasitically harvests your personal information automatically digs up every credit card you have and connects back to your "wallet" where they also couldn't be f****** bothered to properly handle your ACH transfer information or provide any form of controls over the mountain of personal and financial information they're hoarding about you.Should you attempt to contact support, you'll be greeted by what I can only assume is the cheapest ** customer service bot on the market. At one point it just started parroting back that it can't help and to please let it know if you had other questions. How the absolute f*** is your customer service less helpful than a list of bullet points? Once the ** gets lost your SOL and must start a new conversation where the ** bot is able to figure out you're frustrated but also undoubtedly and unwaveringly referencing BILT. then and only then will you be afforded the option to chat with a "real human". Don't get your hopes up though, as the "real human" is mysteriously just as lost and useless as another chatbot and seem prone to spontaneously deciding to "handle things over email" while ending and closing the chat without sending any email followup. what a royal f*** you to customers you've wronged.The "rewards" page is nothing but a springboard for affiliate integrations that BILT undoubtedly takes a cut of, and any rewards with monetary value are gatekept to the highest of their arbitrary reward levels. god forbid you transfer your points anywhere useful without signing onto a card with BILT and trusting them with not only your ACH (which they've leaked in a breach) but every single transaction and relying on that card for nearly every expense. Wow; what a professional and respectable company; what even is a conflict of interest?If I had the option I would never use BILT. This is a company that moves thousands of dollars at a time on your behalf with zero accountability and zero regard.

    This company is collecting personal data en masse without actually providing consumers (many of whom are forced to use/pay rent through Bilt by their landlord) privacy options and easily accessible ways to opt out of collection/sharing, etc. Instead, they make clear efforts to obscure and dissuade users from controlling their own privacy. Their privacy policy states that you can opt out of sharing and change privacy preferences on the "settings page" of the **** app, BUT THE *** DOES NOT HAVE A DESIGNATED SETTINGS PAGE. Further, the **** website has a "privacy center" that is, in fact, nothing more than a webpage with their privacy policy. Why do they call this a center and suggest that it affords users an easy, intuitive way to control their privacy preferences? Obviously to mislead. Users must find the intentionally obscured links scattered throughout the document if they want to actually exercise their rights and protect their data. Further, on their website, they have a link to "Privacy Settings" at the bottom, but the link doesn't work! Why do they have this fake button? Again, to mislead people into thinking that **** allows users to access/control settings. They do not. There is no designated settings page on the mobile app (first app ive ever seen that completely lacks this) and the website only pretends to have a settings page. This is blatant stuff. A cursory review of their app and website will confirm the above and that **** is a sleazy company attempting to take advantage of customers, including those living in *******. This app and website should be shut down until **** decides to play by the rules like every other company. And Illinois renters, like myself, should not be forced to use this to pay rent.

If you would like to review these privacy controls in ****** mobile app, please hit the "submit a privacy request" hyperlink at the bottom of the "Privacy" tab. Our "Privacy Settings" link in the footer of Biltrewards.com should also initiate a popup window within the page that provides users with the ability to opt in or out of sharing personal information.

    I have been using Bilt rewards for the past 2 years and have had no issues until my recent hotel reservation where I redeemed points for the room but was charged $207. I have contacted Bilt customer service who forwarded me to Expedia, who told me they don't have access to points and the only way to get n touch with Bilt is through their on-line chat that instructs you to chat via text or email but no one gets in touch to resolve the issues. Expedia informed me that Bilt does not use online representatives for their customer service. This is problematic and I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service provided by ****.

    I began using Bilt for my rent payments in December 2023, in response to seeing the Bilt option on my landlords rent payment website. It seemed like a good idea earn points for paying my rent. Why not? Sinc December, Ive been paying my rent (always on time) through Bilt with no problems, until today, April 10, 2024, when I received an email from Bilt accusing me of misconduct and wrongdoing (no further details), and telling me my account is suspended.I spent my entire career in law enforcement fighting financial crime specifically, so I wasnt thrilled with the allegation that Im a criminal or a cheater. Ive done nothing wrong, and **** didnt feel obliged to tell me what they think I did wrong they decided that the insult and the account cancellation were enough.

    I have attempted to work with ****/********** to resolve my issue however they just continue to pass me along to other "Agents" as if this was a game. Bilt/WellsFargo you should be ashamed, make this right with your customer.

    This review is on ****'s utter lack of customer support on credit card issues. Bilt double charged me for the card's statement bill. I prepaid my monthly statement a few days ahead of the due date, but **** proceeded to deduct the the amount again from my banking account on the statement due date. It has now been 2 months and Bilt still has not refunded me the extra payment it deducted from my bank account. I spoke to its representative on the phone a week after this happened and the representative promised that **** will refund me by mailing me a physical check in 5-7 business days (representative said that they will not send me email confirmation of the conversation or the resolution but promised that they will send me the check). 3 weeks later, I still have not received the check, and I started emailing the Bilt support email address to resolve my issue. The email responses I got from Bilt are barely understandable, with mention of only crediting ***** reward points to my account but no mention of refunding me the $2,317.70 Bilt wrongfully deducted from my bank account and no subsequent response from the Bilt team when I asked the team to help me better understand my options at this point. I have also had previous interactions with their "support" team through emails--and the response time (if you are lucky to get a response) is at least 2-3 days, and the phone number you can reach them at is not reachable over the weekend and is only open from M-F 8am-9pm ET (good luck in getting a live representative). I will never use Bilt again and will advise all friends to stay far away from using Bilt to pay rent or using its credit card.

    This is a reflection of Bilt Technology's "Bilt Rewards" program's support team; they are an absolute joke and a complete, and utter waste of time. They have a "chat" feature that never transfers you to a live user, and instead forces you to submit a ticket; those tickets never actually go through, as you are never provided with a email notification and after literal days they don't respond. The only way to call them is to call ***** ***** first, who will give you their phone number ONLY if you ask them before transferring you along. EVERY time, you are transferred to a queue where you get the soft greeting "all of our agents are busy supporting other customers, there is an approximate three minute wait-time." Then you sit there listening to the same comfort greeting over, and over; no hold music, no pause between the greeting, JUST the greeting itself. Eventually, the queue drops the call (if you've waited over fifteen minutes). It's called a "blackout queue" and a lot of businesses funnel you into one when their call load is too heavy (I've worked in Telecom, and have implemented this same practice unfortunately at the direction of previous managers). You have the option for a callback if you press "2" but the system never hears the keystroke. If you call enough times in a row, eventually you get a comfort greeting that just hangs up on you after saying "goodbye." Real polite!
    Now, my issue? They took $2,820.01 from me that they were supposed to pay my apartment complex, but never did. Nor did they credit my account/refund me. I was finally able to get ahold of someone who submitted a ticket, but it's been days and there's no resolution. Their support team is an absolute nightmare and I haven't even had a chance to try out the rewards program because of how utterly garbage they are.
    I'll never use Bilt Technologies again, especially not to pay rent. If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. DO NOT send them your money!

    The website and the mobile app prompted me to sign up for Rent Reporting to the three credit bureaus to potentially increase my credit score. However, nowhere on the website nor in the mobile app was it mentioned that once signed up, it is not possible to cancel or get out of the rent reporting unless the lease is cancelled or if I move to another address.This is mentioned in the terms and conditions in fine print, but the terms and conditions are not readily accessible on the website or in the mobile app. Also, after reading the terms and conditions, they are stating that they own my data and can sell my data or essentially do whatever they like with it. This gives the appearance of dishonesty and hinting consumers to sign up without a warning of the consequences.

    ************ is a loyalty platform offered to residents of our partner buildings at no cost. One optional benefit that residents of our partner buildings may choose to opt into is free credit reporting of their rent payments to all three credit bureaus. This feature is entirely optional and after users become members of ************, to enroll in rent reporting, they must actively choose to take advantage of the free service by completing an additional sign up in the ************ mobile app or online. One of the conditions that the major credit bureaus have is that once a user enrolls in an opt-in rent reporting service, they remain enrolled for the duration of their lease and they cannot opt-out. The credit bureaus put this condition in place to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the information reported. If users were able to opt out, they could do so just because they have paid late in a given month and this would result in the information that the credit bureaus have on users having their rent reported being inaccurate. Unfortunately, this requirement is out of Bilts control as it is a requirement of the credit bureaus. Bilt discloses this requirement in three places during the sign up process, including by calling it out as one of three most important things to know about the service in plain text in app that users must agree to, as well as in the terms and conditions, which are displayed twice in the sign up process. While we regret and understand that users may not wish to continue using the free rent reporting service once they have opted in, we do our best to make sure users are aware of this condition during the sign up process. Additionally, if users should change their mind about enrolling in the free rent reporting service, they may unenroll in-app and online themselves within the first 48 hours after enrolling, or by contacting Bilt support until their first rent payment is reported to the credit bureaus. However, once their rent has begun to be reported to the bureaus, the credit bureaus require that it continue to be reported until the lease is over.
