My name is ***********************. I enrolled in Recyclebank over 10 years ago, and have mostly enjoyed it. But, a few months ago, I was un-signed out of the program, and, every time I have tried to sign back it, I'm told that my information doesn't connect to an account (this isn't true -- I've gotten many magazine subscriptions with my Recyclebank points over the past few years). Then I tried to create a new account, only to be told that my zip code wasn't a valid zip code. That is not true either.I have been sending emails to an address that is supposed to be customer service for ********************** for nearly two weeks without a single reply.I just want to know what's going on.Customer Answer

Good afternoon - Apparently sometime within the past 11 months this company has completely deleted my account (registered under the provided e-mail, and all the EARNED points I still had in my account.Perhaps the company waas sold, but ZERO communiction to existing account holders with rewarded points is unacceptable.I ask that my account and points that existed be reinstated and the company advise why they thought it was legal to completely delete account from their system.Thanks,*****Customer Answer

My complaint is similar to the others I have read. After being a Recyclebank member for years, Recycle bank shut down my account without any notice and I was left with about ****** unused points. I was unable to access the site and use them for anything. I feel the company should allow us to use our points or settle our accounts with an equivalent value in cash or merchandiseCustomer Answer

At this time, I have not been contacted by Recyclebank LLC regarding complaint ID ********.No word at all. Don't even know if they went out of business although they are still an online presence. Just locked everyone out of their accounts so we all lost points that could have been used for merchandise, magazines, coupons. Strongly feel they should compensate us in some way or reinstate our accounts and points .

I had more than ***** points stored up on my *************** account. Had I been notified of impending change I would have gotten a gift card and magazines before it was closed. Very disappointed that I was not even notified of change.Initial Complaint

I have been participating in recyclebank for years and when I tried to login was told my credentials don't exist. I'm sure I jad points to use sitting in there and there was no notification given that anything was changing or disappearing. What happened to our account and points???Initial Complaint

I have the same complaint as all the others before me. I have been a member for many years and have points available that I was attempting to use on magazines. You can't get anyone on the phone and when I enter all my information to "open" an account it just freezes on the page. I, along with thousands of customers of Recyclebank LLC have been duped. Without notice, Recyclebank was sold and revamped, and previous member accounts deleted along with accumulated points. These points were awarded through various activities, and if we had known we could have tried to redeem them for something - anything. I have read other complaints filed with BBB, and the only response anyone is getting is that you "have not received a response from RecycleBank." Does that typically equate a resolution in your eyes? Should we all just say, "Oh, okay, that's just peachy keen" ? Would you if this had happened to you?? What, if anything, is BBB doing to pursue this issue?
