  Ive been a supporter of recycle bank for years had over ****** points and go to log and my account was gone along with my points. They changed things and you no longer have access to your account if your zip code is not in the partnering area They gave no warning that this would happen. There is no way to contact them either. Its sad they would do this to so many loyal customers

  They locked me and thousands of other people out of our accounts.I have been a member of Recyclebank for years.I had points built up from dutifully logging in and doing the Daily Pledge everyday. Now with the limited email contact I have had with someone in their customer care I have had no more response from anyone at Recyclebank. Try to sign in and the website claims that I don't exist. Try to make a new account and it kicks me off saying that my Zip code is not recognized etc etc. Lousy way to run a business. Either tell the members what is going with email or post something on the website or their ********* Just tell us what you are doing with your website.

  I would have given 0 stars if possible. After being a loyal customer for YEARS I tried logging in to find that my account had been deactivated with no warning. I have several thousand points built up from doing activities and it was all taken away. No warning, no contact info to find out why. The new platform will not allow me to create a new account because I do not live in a certain zipcode. I feel this is theft because they stole the points I had earned legitimately with no compensation when they changed without warning.

  One day I visited the site as usual, read an article or two, got my points and closed the site as have done for a few years now. The next day I didn't exist! I couldn't log in, I wasn't recognized, nothing! No warning, no opportunity to use my points, just GONE. And of course my community isn't listed even though they do recycle. But what really upsets me is that I was using this site to get magazines for developmentally disabled adults who absolutely love getting a magazine and now that is gone. Shame on this business.

  I am one among tens of thousands of Recyclebank users who religiously visited their site for well over a decade. Doing their daily eco-themed challenges enabled me to earn tens of thousands of points that could theoretically be redeemed for magazine subscriptions among other discounts and perks. Like many fellow users, I was 'saving' my points until Recyclebank began offering more appealing rewards.On July 30, 2022, I was suddenly denied access to my account. I thought it was very odd since I was a daily visitor and never encountered that issue before. Out of curiosity, I went on Recyclebank's ******** account and noticed tons of people complaining about how - out of the blue - Recyclebank deleted their accounts without the simple courtesy of a heads up or an opportunity to use the points that each of us had earned. I had numerous very brief e-mail exchanges with Recyclebank representative ******** in which she seemed to purposefully avoid answering my questions and requests. She claimed that Recyclebank no longer has a record of all the points that I earned, which seems like utter nonsense. She also claimed on August 2, 2022: "I will escalate your inquiry to management, and address it with my team. I will reach back out and advise once I have more clarity." It is now August 13th and ******* still haven't heard from her, which seems consistent with Recyclebank's lack of regard for their users. Bottom line - Recyclebank has behaved entirely dishonorably. It's incredibly insulting to be rendered nonexistent by a company, but on top of that, they've behaved extremely unethically, as well. I want Recyclebank to post a HIGHLY VISIBLE public apology on their website AND social media accounts to the great many users they GHOSTED. Furthermore, I expect them to individually contact each one of us and offer us proper compensation for the points that we EARNED that they DELETED.

  It's unacceptable and unfortunate that recyclebank decided to go through this route-where they disappeared for 2 years from 2020 with no customer service contact. I've kept on collecting points on the side daily hoping the business resumes back. Now, recyclebank has been restructured or taken over by another owner. And, without any acknowledgement to the current customers, they shut down everyone's accounts and no warning notice for us to use our points before they restructured. Now, all and all their customers points are gone along with the accounts. It's just sad that the business has became unethical.

  The Recyclebank program started off as a wonderful incentive up until they suddenly locked a lot of people out of access to their accounts. Though their ******************** say they can pretty much do whatever, whenever they want, most business will at the least, email you a courtesy notification that they are either ending the program, changing the program or whatever. Many people still had points to redeem for *rewards* and no one was given the opportunity to redeem them since NO ONE was notified the program was changing. Which seems very intentional and just...wrong. I don't know why any entity would partner with them seeing as they appear to like to pull the rug out from underneath you. The terrible way they handled this change to their program, leaves in my mind, that they're not an honest broker. I did contact them via email to 1. ask them why I couldn't access my account and 2. to ask about redeeming my points and they pretty much said to me ****. That's all.

  Recyclebank bank ghosted me. After many years and many points they decided to not acknowledge their supporters and changed their site cutting off past earners. The new site has no contact information for them. Very sad way to do business. Dont waste your time or effort with this company.
