My husband and I were trying to find a donor egg, and we found an Indian **************** that we thought could help us. We purchased a donor egg from them, and I have all the paperwork and proof of payment (invoice). The eggs were shipped from ***** on January 10, 2023, and were delivered on January 11, 2023. My embryo transfer was scheduled for February 8, 2023, so they thawed the eggs on February 3, 2023, and started making embryos the same day. However, I received a call from my doctor's ****** on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 11:35 am, and ******************************** MD, MPH from IVF Michigan, ****************, informed me that the eggs' quality was extremely poor, and it looks like none of the embryos made it. ****************** told me that these were the worst quality eggs he had ever seen , and the embryologist confirmed the same. I contacted the Indian ***************** and explained everything, and they asked for the doctor's ******* which I provided immediately. My doctor sent all the evidence to the Indian Egg Donor on February 15, 2023, and in good faith, ****************** of IVF Michigan asked the financial department to refund me 100% of the money. We received a response from ********************** (*************************** colleague. Instead of fighting for us with *****, she was defending *****. In the ***** she claimed ***** as our clinicIt does not seem like they contacted ***** about the eggs at all. When Indian Egg Donors say they are our advocates, they should fight for us, but this does not seem to be true. There is a conflict of interest because 1) they are putting their financial interest over our interest 2) they also have relationship with the clinic, evident form ***************** ***** calling ***** as their clinic. We are struggling financially, mentally, and I (**********) am going through a lot physically. I am not expecting a huge loss of $16,000, which we put on our credit card. It would be a huge help if you could assist us in getting our money back.
