Think again before you use Amynta Group for warranty coverage. They deny claims if you have any connections whatsoever with Law Enforcement, Fire or EMS. That says a whole lot about what kind of a company it is.If you support emergency service, contact Amynta Group and tell them how despicable this is.

Dear Mr. ******************* you for your patience as we thoroughly reviewed your Better Business Bureau complaint regarding the denial of your transmission claim and the cancellation of your vehicle service contract (***). We apologize for any frustration or delay you may have experienced.

Please note that the *** is a contract, not an insurance policy, warranty, or guarantee. It is administered by *****************. (AWC), which is responsible for determining coverage eligibility based on the contracts terms and conditions.

After a review by our *************************** Team, it was determined that your transmission claim was adjudicated in accordance with the **** The inspection photos show clear signage in the windshield indicating affiliation with the fire department. Additionally, during a phone call on March 13, 2025, you confirmed that you are a volunteer with the fire department. The *** explicitly excludes coverage for vehicles used in emergency service. As such, this classification led to both the denial of your claim and the cancellation of your contract.

We have communicated this to you multiple times: by phone on March 13, 14, 17, and 31, and via email on March 18, 31, and April 14, 2025. Additionally, our legal department issued a formal response to your complaint filed with the State of North Carolina on April *******, reiterating these points.

One of their companies, Guardsman, denied my claim. I bought a 5-year protection plan for a sectional about a year and a half ago. One of the framing members came loose in a piece of the sectional. The customer support team is rude, and Guardsman uses a loophole of "if you don't submit a claim within 30 days, then we won't fix it..." 30 day? I purchased a 5-year plan? Am I speaking a different language? Doesn't 5 years cover 30 days? So, Amynta, you need to get Guardsman to honor their word, if not, I hope you are inundated with complaints and low reviews. This is not ethical, and your subsidiary company is morally bankrupt.

Had a cylinder go in my truck on the way to work. The employee I work for has strict a attendance policy and knew the engine was already gone and no further damage could be done so I went to work and took it to the garage after. Well comes out after my over 100 mile trip after the cylinder went I went 82 miles over my warranty. Got denied so I reached out to this company myself. Got a call back saying I should of been checking my oil every gas stop and as soon as I kept driving it I couldn't claim it anymore. There was a lot more but lets just say customer service isn't top notch with this company. Instead of helping out their customers they dip deep into their contracts to find a way to not cover you.The dealership said a part in the engine went bad maybe thousands of miles ago that caused this to happen. I was told " can you prove it?"

Waited 6 weeks to tell me that some of my paperwork had issues and only got back to me because I emailed. A line was missing and the information from the bank started at the loan origination rather than the payment t start date. This is ridiculous as it's been mo tha since I filed the claim and have to keep paying two car payments and am about to lose my housing! The bank keep asking when they will heqr from my GAP insurance fro.mmy total loss in January

I purchased a 5-year protection plan on an exercise bike, to be administered by Guardsman US LLC (apparently acquired by Amynta and operating under the Warrantech brand, support services provided via myprotectionplan360.com, partnering with various regional repair service centers ... Is this shell game intentional?). Terms include 0 deductible and a coverage waiting period of 0 months.Within the first year of coverage, I raised a hardware issue with the manufacturer's support team (not related to Amynta et al), who provided guidance on recommended parts and service. I filed a claim with **********, who accepted the diagnosis and created a repair order. The repair center that received the assignment reaches out every 2 weeks to see if I have received parts - they will not send a technician until I have. Every 2 weeks, I call Warrantech, sit on hold for hours at a time, and hear some version of "having trouble sourcing the parts".After 2 months, ***** opted to reimburse me for the bike due to the lack of an "economical" repair option. Fair enough - the limit of liability caps the total amount they pay at the original purchase price of the bike. The problem is that they apparently paid the repair center up front, rather than waiting for a technician to actually perform any labor... and rather than recover said payment from the repair center, Amynta is deducting that (significant) amount from my reimbursement. I've explained that no technician has been dispatched. Amynta responded by changed their justification for the deduction as "cost of searching for parts".The remaining reimbursement - assuming I do receive the check I was promised - amounts to a recuperation of the cost of the contract. It'll work out as if I'd never engaged with this company in the first place. I'm just left to cover repair or replacement costs myself. But Amynta's interpretation and execution of the terms of the protection plan have appeared to me as entirely in bad faith.

Indeed, an agent did reach out via phone call and was quite pleasant. I was relieved to hear that review of my claim/case had led to a decision to issue the remaining amount. Now that I have received the promised check, I am disappointed to report that the amount issued was not, in fact, the full remainder. It's less than the remainder.I did not receive the follow-up email that the agent stated would be sent to summarize our phone conversation, and I cannot read the contact info in the response above. So, I have nowhere else to report the discrepancy but here in this comment.

This company is a rip off. They will have every excuse you can imagine to not cover anything. If you're offered this extended warranty for anything, don't take it. When it's time to actually use it, they'll just quote things from your contract for why they don't have to pay. Also, they do not respond in a timely manner. My car has been in the shop for 3 WEEKS waiting for an answer on what they'll cover or not, still haven't heard. I sent them reciepts for oil changes and have gotten confirmation they received it and then they turn around and say I never sent it.I used this company's warranty on 2 vehicles. I won't ever do business with them again.

Was told by Video Only that their extended warranty would cover up to repair, and if not repairable, would provide me with a refurbished or T.V. of equal value. They do not value this, and have left me in discuss. Spend a little extra, and shop ****** for televisions.

I purchased GAP insurance through this company when I purchased a 2018 Malibu in 2021. When the vehicle was totaled in January of 2024, I filed a claim. GAP companies typically take a couple of weeks to complete your claim and submit a check to the finance company. They made continuous errors and excuses over three plus months! I had to keep calling them and tell them where emails were and guide them how to do their jobs. The claim wasn't completed until April 15th 2024. The date of the loss was January 4th, 2024. This is outrageous and a complete waste if time and money as I had to pay 3 additional car payments during this time for a car I no longer had. I plan to file a small claims suit as well. They never seemed to care when I called about how it affected me. I told their customer server representative today I planned to report them to the BBB and file suit, he didn't care at all. I am very upset and angry that this company did this to me and will likely continue to do this to others.

    Dear ***************,

We apologize for any delay or frustration that you may have experienced due to the *** claim taking longer than your expectations. Our records indicate that on January 16, 2024, you reported a total loss.  On March 28, 2024, the *** department documented that they received the documents needed to process the *** claim. On April 5, 2024, during review of the *** claim it was determined that we needed a copy of the Personal Information Recovery Plan contract.  On April 12, 2024, the Personal Information Recovery Plan contract was provided for review. On April 16, 2024, the *** claim was completed, check printed and was mailed to the lien holder.

Unfortunately, for the *** claim to be completed, all required documents are needed to adjust the *** claim.  Once all the required documents were received, the *** claim was completed, and the check was mailed to the lien holder.

Again, we apologize for any delay or frustration that you may have experienced.

    Best regards,
