Wrote numerous emails, chatted live, had others write. No one responds. They will initially respond to your first request by having you write another email *** film out a form (in my case it was to gain access to a deceased persons site with their familys approval of course). Then silence. No response to numerous emails asking for next steps or ETAs. The brother wrote 5 follow up emails, and me the same. Nothing gets resolved.

The company I used to work at set up a website with Squarspace. My email address was the point of contact when prospective clients wanted to contact the company. I have since left the company about 4 1/2 years ago yet I still receive emails contacting me through the firm's website.I am only able to contact Squarespace by email. There is no phone number to reach Squarespace. Squarespace has yet to resolve the issue and has stopped responding to my emails. I have requested many times for a phone or zoom call to discuss how to resolve the issue - yet they refuse. Squarespace needs to develop a phone number to discuss elevated issues such as this.

I never used the website/domain and have tried to cancel many times over the past year and still keep getting renewal invoices. This is a travesty and there is no way to speak with anyone or get a clear path to cancellation and refund. They try to make you delete your account and then you cannot have the ability to ask any questions. TERRIBLE...DO NOT USE....YOU WILL BE SORRY!

Squarespace offers a seemingly easy alternative, but please be aware that they have either fired (or never had in the first place) any customer service and are deceitful about their business model. Once you buy a domain (which is way above market cost and doesn't include any site help), you can't cancel it- your site has to "expire", but if it doesn't magically work (see: this is a company trying to take your money) there is no one to talk to. They don't offer phone help, list an email but the email bounces back inquiries, and the ******* help is an automated response that send you to a sign in screen which you can't access, because your site is expired.Super f(redacted)ing fun, do anything else but this.

Purchased a domain and now its on the expired domain though its paid for they are horrible to work with. Poor customer support. *** reached out via ******** Requested for help & I still cant see what I purchased - never sent me a receipt as I have requested it. They need to fix the dashboard immediately- I had confirmed I am the owner of my site several times and still shows ownership to Squarespace. I cant find it. Or even begin to make a site!

PLEASE UPDATE YOUR CANCELLATION PROCESS I used Squarespace for my business but then took it offline. I do not use the domain associated with the site and wanted to remove it but was unable to do so. I kept getting notifications from Squarespace and was charged for it. I went to try to cancel it and see that there is no option for this. There is a vague toggle button that exists but it was not clear if this would solve the issue. I turned it on hoping that would solve it but I was still charged, that means I also get charged fees by my bank on top of what they charged me. I went through my bank to have them look into it and soon after they turned off my account and cancelled my cards, and had to re-issue new cards due to confirmed fraud. I see now that this domain is removed from my site but only after going through this process. I am requesting that Squarespace change the way their users can cancel and then remove their domains and to make the process more clear. I feel their current policy is unfair. Even if you cancel all your information is stored and your domain is not removed. Maybe add an option to go through the third party on their own? See below: Squarespace policy:"Squarespace Domains renew automatically each year unless theyre canceled. If the unexpected charge is for a domain registration or renewal, you can:Cancel the domain immediately. This option is only available if you have registered the domain in the past five days.Disable auto-renew to cancel the next domain renewal charge."

Reached regarding pricing discrepancies, all I got back was requests for private information, weird links and vague answers. Absolutely zero effort to keep my business.
