I see a lot of comments about the length of time to get money out. But given the process involved in processing investments, this duration makes sense. Personally, I've been using Betterment for several years with no problems. The system is easy to use, transactions and transfers are easy, and the platform is detail when it comes to showing me where my money is going. All in all, I'm very happy with their service.

I was able to recover all my lost funds and bonuses back. If you need any assistance with regards to your lost funds from your broker or maybe your broker manager asking you to make more deposits before you could make a withdrawal or your account has been manipulated by your broker manager or your broker has blocked your account just because they need you to make more deposits to your account. If youre interested in getting all your lost funds back Kindly get in contact with UNIQUE RECOVERY FIRMThe will guide you on the steps I took in getting all my funds and bonuses back, do not invest again in this company they are fake, Good luck toContact info:WhatsApp:?+1>>>>>>>>> (279)>>>>>>>>> 268->>>>>>>>>8154?Email:>>>>>>>>>>>>uniquerecoveryfirm>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>@gmail>>>>>>>>>.com

Scammy - never informed me about a monthly charge for opening an investment account and wasnt on their site (like they said) or app. Then charge another fee to withdraw the funds. I was excited to open accounts with them, now I will withdraw my money ****.

I am a business owner that signed up Betterments 401k. Was the process not easy to complete but they invoice you for every little thing they do. When it came time to cancel our 401(k) with them, it took them months to send us the cancellation paperwork after calling the multiple times and then once they did send the paperwork, we signed and paid the $750 Cancellation fee Weeks ago. They still have not canceled our planned and keep invoicing us for their services after the plan is supposed to be canceled. Communication and hassle to get anything done with this company is the reason we canceled on top of the fact is that they will feed you to death for everything they do. Stay far away from this company.

THIEVES!!! I deposited funds with them. When I submitted a withdrawal request for some of those funds, I encountered many problems. Over the course of days, they kept asking me to jump through one hoop or another. At some point, they asked for a me to pose with a picture id. I complied because I wanted MY MONEY, (which, by the way, they readily withdrew from my linked account) and this seemed to make the situation worse. I AM BLACK so now they want me to prove that I own the very same account that they, hastily, after verifying, and linking it to themselves; withdrew MY MONEY. I am still trying to get my money!!!!

If you ever need to withdraw a large amount for a car or home purchase you are screwed if you have Betterment checking. There is no option for wire transfer at all, and you are unable to transfer out unless the account is in your name, your spouse's account won't work either, it has to be your name. I currently may lose out on the house I finally got an offer accepted on after months of searching and other offers. All because betterment won't let me take out my own money. When I called for help all their customer support agents read back the same script like a group of parrots and were 0 help at all. Terrible bank, do not use them for checkings or saving for any reason.

I needed to make a car payment but betterment rejected my attempt at making a large transaction. Support refused to work with me to make this possible. I shouldnt have to fight my bank to spend my money. I had talk to over 4 phone support and 2 email support staff regarding getting a report of a transaction so I could dispute an invalid parking ticket. Over two weeks and several departments being involved Betterment was unable to give me that. They simply were incapable of emailing me stating I made a transaction at a specific time. I couldnt think of a more simple request, yet somehow this was too complicated of a request.Be warned, you will have no customer support with **********************. *********************** support leadership is an embarrassment.

Received email from Betterment that my account access was locked. Had to call them for verification. Spent time on the phone with them to explain everything they asked for and eventually with no other explanation just received an email a few days later that my account was closed. Had this account since 2019 and this is unacceptable way to deal with clients. They definitely turned into a bad bank to deal with.

Beware of Betterment: Betterment advertises they are a better way to invest, ***************************, etc.I wish we could attach a picture of the incrementally geometric line of the decline of our account. It literally looks like a staircase. Our Portfolio's return: -71%, yes that's Negative 71%. (Luckily we put in only $25 to test the waters, to start an account for our child. We currently have $8.95)AND when we try to close our account (online and via phone), we are told we are not allowed to withdraw more than 90% of of our balance, but can't close the account until all the money is withdrawn. So basically we can't close the account at all. Scam Alert!
