  Account Gone Without Any Explanation - Very Frustrating Ive been using SoundCloud for some time, sharing my music under Jovial Phenom. Im a verified artist on over 100 other well-known platforms, and SoundCloud has always been an important place for me to connect with my fans and fellow professionals.But recently, I tried to log in, and my account was completely goneno warning, no email, and no explanation. To say Im frustrated is an understatement. Ive spent a lot of time building my presence here, linking my music to other platforms, and building professional relationships. And now, all of that is just gone, without any idea of why.Whats disappointing, though, is the lack of communication. Ive received absolutely nothing from SoundCloud explaining what happened or why my account was removed. Ive always followed the platforms rules, so I dont understand why this happened.If youre thinking about using SoundCloud, Id be cautious. Its a platform that can just take your account away with no explanation and leave you in the dark. For an artist, thats a huge blow, and honestly, its hard to trust a platform that handles things like this so poorly.Advice: If something goes wrong with your account, dont expect any help or clarity from SoundCloud. Im honestly really disappointed.

  So I have a producer artist account on ****************** and I posted a video game type beat on my profile and SoundCloud immediately took it off my profile and said I sampled some piece from another song. I made all my own melodies in the song, thats why I found it odd they said it to me, so I looked up the song they said was sampled and there was no indication of similarity. The song didnt have remotely close sounds that I made in the song. The song they said was sampled from was called moon bright by ************************* owned by black screen records. So I went to link to say there was a miss understanding and the link didnt even work. I was worried they stole my beat that I worked hard on and sold it to that video game record company. Im on sound cloud as an independent producer and I dont pay money to boost my plays and likes on that platform. Im on there just to catch some attention through talent and it wont let me branch out. I even had people say on SoundCloud that they want to buy my beats. Its completely ridiculous how much access they have to your music and how easy it is to cover up your existence as an independent producer when you dont pay for their protection its weird! I wish this ****** post had a zero star rating!

  The worst company to deal with. The customer support is nonexistent. As a new customer, I created a whole season of my podcast on the platform and was then offered a special renewal price to be honored by a certain date. When I found the email with the offer and tried to use it (well before the expiration), the link was broken and it wouldn't work. I emailed their support team with a ticket 4 times and was never responded to. To this day, I still keep getting generic, auto replies that their team is dealing with a high volume of support requests. Safe to say that I left the platform and moved onto Buzzsprout, but it's frustrating because I've lost all the hosted content I had on Soundcloud when I made the move. Save yourself the time and money and just look elsewhere.

  This company supports pedophiles and maintains their business, all because none of the events occurred on their site. They turn a blind eye.
