    I made an appointment for annual pap smear and also provide my insurance. But on the day, my period came, so I had to call to cancel the appointment. I don't want to do pap smear on my first period day and all my experience with all other OBGYN doctors, none of they would do pap smear on their patient when they having period. But DOWNTOWN WOMEN OBGYN is different, they against the medical policy and insisted me to come otherwise they will charge me $50 for non-show. and they hang the phone on me and sent the $50 bills. They know if I don't pay them, it will hurt my credit score. and I had to pay.

    Downtown Women follows the *** and USPSTF pap smear recommendations. Based on age 21 -65 pap smears are done every 3 years. Patient did not make a payment of $50. No refund is required. The practice did a courtesy write off for a same day cancelation policy.
