    This business fraudently charged me for an annual visit when I switched obgyn providers in the middle of my pregnancy. The billing department told me this was done because since I switched providers, the practice would not be able to claim the universal fee for delivering my baby. My insurance denied the claim (since it was fraudulent), and then downtown women billed me consistently for 3 years. Their billing department was almost impossible to reach via both email and phone. I left numerous messages and no one ever got back to me. They eventually sent my bill to collections, I paid it simply to be done with the aggravation, and then I received another bill for the interest that accrued over the time that I did not pay the bill. All in all this was a horrible experience I paid the bill just to be done but I am worried about future patients who may not be as financially stable. Upon browsing ****** reviews of the practice I noticed this is fairly standard protocol for this business and that numerous other patients have had similar fraudulent annual visits billed when that was not the service provided. I am writing this review with the BBB since it seems like a common experience.
