      Melio is an absolute nightmare. My bookkeep thought she was connecting me to a service offered by ********** only to find out after the fact that it was actually serviced by Melio. Nothing in ********** told us we were authorizing a third party payment processor. Trying to contact someone at Melio was incredibly difficult and they didn't have answers to most of our questions. They've been deducting funds from my account for month and claim to be sending the money to my bookkeeper only to find out that she never receives it. I try to get ********** to put a stop to it and they tell me to call Melio and give me a phone number. The number goes to an automated message that tells me to chat with them inside ********** which I can't do because I don't have that level of service plan. Or to email to an email account that doesn't exist. Stay far away from Melio and be wary of **********.

      The closest you can get to a scam. I wish I had checked the BBB website before consenting to receive *** payments through Melio. I have a ********** self-employed account and, like many others, received an email that a paper check could be processed as an *** (free of charge) by Melio. On August 3, I had approved the *** process via Melio. It is now August 22.What a nightmare. I have emailed them, pleaded with them, messaged on ********,..even gone so far as to find their CEO on ******** to ask for help (no response). What's terrible is that I had to involve my client (the payor) due to Melio's shady incompetence. I saw the email sent to my client: So please let me know if you'd like to have this payment reissued via ***. You will not be charged a second time as we've already collected the funds. So, Melio admits to having the funds but will not release them without speaking to my client. Interesting, because I used Melio for this exact client and exact payment amount about 2 months prior and did not run into this issue then. Essentially, my client has to get involved and I have to spend countless hours trying to receive a resolution from Melio. Other customers aren't joking when they say there is no telephone number. As for live chat? I logged into the Melio account and there wasn't a live chat option. I may need to get my attorney involved and I am appalled at this experience.This is a company that, at best, is dangerously unorganized, and at worst, willfully negligent of its customers in retaining funds that do not belong to them. This is no way to run a business and I am frankly surprised/disappointed at their status as an approved partner of **********. If you don't have a telephone option, your other communication channels need to be timely and responsive. Melio is doing irrefutable harm to its customers and reputation.

      Unfortunately I am having the same experience that many others here have complained about. I am an independent contractor and was set up to receive my payments through Melio. My first payments were scheduled to be delivered on August 5. For reasons I cannot fathom, Melio seems to be unable to verify my bank account despite having made microdeposits to it on 2 separate occasions, Aug. 10 and Aug. 15. I have entered these microdeposit amounts on Melio's web app each time, which is what they say is necessary to verify my bank account. Each time, the microdeposits were debited back to Melio within 24 hours, but I have never received the payments I am owed from the business I'm doing work for. It is now 2 weeks after I should have received my payments. I have attempted to contact Melio multiple times by using their support email. There has been no response at all. I called a customer service number that took me an hour to find, and I received an automated message directing me to their "live web chat" for support. When I went on their website to chat, the chat button was nonfunctional. You click on it and nothing happens. I messaged their ******** page - no response. At this point I've decided that this company is at best a complete failure or at worst a total scam. I don't know what else to do to receive my payments. Thanks for nothing Melio. Do your investors know what a terrible business they invested in, that can't even support its customers???

      ********** recently started offering free ****-pay through Melio. I started using it a few months ago. I sent a vendor payment for $1417.50 and Melio reported that the Payment Failed and told me to re-submit. I paid a second one which it reported was successful. When I checked my checking account, it showed that both payments were withdrawn, but the vendor only received the second payment. I reached out to ********** Online and numerous support staff had never heard of Melio. They finally routed the support ticket directly to Melio. They responded via email but have not done anything to rectify my problem. Numerous emails back to them have gone unanswered. ********** was able to transfer me via phone to Melio support, but they eventually disconnected. I sat on their Support chat today for about an hour and they kicked me after I diligently watched my queue position go from 16 to 1. Nobody answers their phone line and just tells you to do the chat or email. I really can not believe that ********** teamed up with these jokers. I'm going to go back to cutting checks.
