      I bought a laptop bag for over $850. At the time of sale at airport Montblanc representative told me that I can get personalized initial embossed at any Montblanc location at no charge. Airport shop didn't have that facility. Upon visiting store in ********* **, representative told me it will cost $30 to get initial embossed.It's not money but right / wrong. If I can pay over $850 for laptop, I can also pay $30. They call their employees as ambassadors but they are nothing but cheat. To sale say one thing but then deny by just saying sorry.Do not buy Montblanc products. If business has been unfair, they need to feel it.I see all negative reviews and wish had seen them before. No more business with this company and all around me will know my experience.

      This review is for a warranty repair on a piece of Montblanc luggage (Trolley), handled through the store at ******* ****** in *** *****. After 1.5 years of use (as carry-on only), the Montblanc symbol fell off the bag, and the leather handle became loose and damaged. I submitted the bag for a warranty repair in June 2023, and was quoted a 6 week repair time. The long 6 week repair time was justified by Montblanc due to all of their parts being "hand-made." After 6 weeks, I checked with Montblanc, and was told that the repair was delayed. They refused to provide me a loaner bag, or to replace the bag with a new one. Eventually, the repaired bag was returned to me after 17 weeks, which was 11 weeks longer than the original repair quote. The staff at Montblanc was unapologetic, made excuses, and did nothing to expedite. After a particularly terse phone exchange with their store associate (16 weeks into the repair process), they suddenly woke up and had the bag back from repair within 5 days. I made an in-person complaint when retrieving my bag from an employee at the store. The store manager, who wasn't there, never reached out to me to discuss afterward.
      For an expensive luxury brand, the service is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. The quality of their luggage is also sub-par, despite the extremely high price. I see the BBB website littered with complaints about Montblanc's unresponsive customer service, and extremely long warranty repairs. I will never buy anything from Montblanc in the future, and advise others to do the same.
