1 starGlad to hear that I'm not alone. Subscriptions are automatically renewed without consulting the subscriber. If subscriptions are 12 months, why do you offer a six month subscription?The toys are flimsy and the treats are hit and miss.Worse yet, on 6/2/25 "*****" from Barkbox promised a refund of $130.62. When I complained to ******, Barkbox ignored the complaint.Cutesy emails do not make up for the underhanded way that this company conducts business Don't do business with this company. 1 starI wanted to cancel my 12 month plan, as my dogs have enough toys and I thought I was getting a 12 month supply for a one time price, not a monthly box for 12 months. When I went on the website they do not have a easy cancel button anywhere. You have to text, chat or email them to cancel which I wasn't a fan of but then once I spoke with a agent on chat she said " I see you still have 6 boxes left in your 12 month plan. We usually don't close out unfulfilled subscriptions, but I'm happy an exception for you this time." like I was locked into a contract or something and she was doing me a favor. I also went back and tried to sign up as a new customer and there is no fine print notifying you that you can't cancel that subscription when you go to pay for it and everything. Only after I exited out of that in my cart and scrolled down to the bottom of the page to FAQS under how do I cancel my subscription and then it says "If you would like to end your subscription commitment early, please contact our Happy team. Please note, however, that your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current subscription term." seems very shady and I won't be using them again because of this.BarkBox

1 starBark box is a scam ordered my first box on the 9th of April it was shipped and here on the 12th its now may 11th and they took my money for the bark box on the 1st of may and its now almost been two weeks and still no bark box they robbed me of about 38 dollars i will never recommend this company to anyone and i will continue to share my experience in hopes it will denture others from this scamBarkBox

1 starToys were NOT durable for my puppy, eventhough I purchased the super chewer toys. I wanted to cancel my subscription after the 1st 2 boxes, they denied me canceling and said I ordered a 6 box subscription and couldnt cancel. I said the terms were not clear and needed to cancel. They sent me a 3rd box, again, I emailed and asked to cancel, they said I had to get the 6 boxes. I will now file a wrongful payment with my cc company to get the 3rd box refunded and put a block on any more attempted purchase. I do not like the product, it isnt worth it and canceling should not be this hard when their terms and conditions are not clear. I will never do business with bark box again.BarkBox

1 starI bought a one month barkbox. Then a couple weeks later I bought a 12 month subscription. After numerous emails over arguing that I should receive 13 boxes not 12 I gave up. I did only get 12 and they've said I only ordered the 12. I have the receipts for both transactions. Very unprofessional customer service and feel as if I was scammed. Thes boxes are expensive.BarkBox

1 starAfter receiving my first box, I decided that I would cancel my subscription because my dogs got sick from the treats. Ive emailed several times to cancel my subscription and they simply refused to do so and I just received another email stating my order will be shipped on April 1. I responded back again stating that I do not want the product and to NOT charge my account again.BarkBox

1 starAfter attempting to change my address multiple times and having issues with logging into my account. One day it says they can't find my email, the next I login and change my address and delete the old ones. My next box still goes to the old address. Ok, I go in and see the change didn't take, so I try again. My next box goes to the old address again. I try to login and once again my email is suddenly not valid. I finally chat and they found my account via that exact email. After 3 months of boxes going to an old address I'm not interested in continuing my subscription. Fix your website.BarkBox

1 starI signed up and they were sending toys not appropriate for my dog. I messaged them because each month the toys were not what I said our dog liked. They told me they would switch the plan to toys more suitable for my type dog. (They didn't tell me they were restarting my monthly subscription so added months to my original commitment!) They new toys were worse than the first! I told them my dog doesn't like any type of balls! That's what they were sending! So I messaged again. They said oh, you need the squeaky toys subscription! They said they would switch out the toys to the different subscription. But this time they worded it to where I asked if it was restarting my commitment and they said yes! Each time I complained about the choice of toys they were sending they restarted my commitment! Like blackmailing me to keep extending my original commitment!BarkBox
