On May 6th, 2025 I placed an order with ************* for my birth certificate. On ******* I received an email stating my order shipped. On May 23rd I began calling vitalchek because my order did not come through the mail, as I'm only one state away. I've called vital chek over 5 times, being on the phone for over 30 minutes with no answer. On May 27th I sent an email to check the status, I've yet to receive a response. I'm currently on the phone, waiting for 35 minutes no answer. I have legal issues in regards to being a victim of identity theft/fraud and need the birth certificate. I'm on a timeframe from needing my birth certificate and my time is winding down with all other documents I've already retrieved, except this birth certificate. I paid $32.75. My Incident #: *************(email sent to vitalchek). I am very concerned about my personal information, and am even more concerned that vitalchek will not answer emails or phone calls to give me a peace of mind about my birth certificate circulating with no confirmation of where it is.Customer Answer

I ordered a marriage certificate from them on April 3 2025 i waited the slotted time for my order to be delivered. Nothing was delivered or communicated i contacted them on April 30 2025 i got a automated response about them looking into it.Still no response as of filing this ************ wouldn't be an issue if they didn't all ready took the money. I ordered a birth certificate on *****************. When they took my money, they said it would be 30 days. 30 days came and went, I contacted them and they said, oh it's ************** it's 90 days. Okay, I contacted them again and they said, oh it's business days. Well That was April 1. I ordered a Kentucky birthday certificate on **********. ********** received an email that it shipped. I never received it. I called on 4/11 & they said they would send a replacement. I still haven't received it. Ordered Long Form Birth Certificates on ******** and Received Short Form Birth Certificates on **********. I ordered my mother's birth certificate (in ** in ****) from Vitalchek, which they processed on January 31. The online advice was that filling the order could take 7-10 business days. In mid-February I had not received the document. I started a totally futile series of numerous telephone calls (hours on hold) and emails to try to find out the status of my order. On March 18 a Vitalchek *** left me a voicemail assuring that my order was being processed "right now" and I should allow a couple days for DC to send it. Another phone call with ********* on March 25 advised that orders can take up to 30 business days (as of that day, it had been 36 business days since they received the order). Today is March 26. I spoke again with the first Vitalchek *** who now says she has sent a request for an update and should have a ***ly within 5 business days. I am sick and tired of being lied to and treated like an idiot. My emails to ********* online support have only received acknowledgement but no followup.Customer Answer

I have contacted this company several times. I paid for expedited service as well. Order February 7, 2025 and as of today March 25, 2025 I still do not have my childrens birth certificates which I needed for their passports. I paid all the money and have no documents. They just give me automated messages and refuse to refund any money or send me the birth certificates.Customer Answer

I have contacted them every way possible and nobody answers the phone when I call and have waited over 2 hours on hold before giving up each time. I just want to go to my granddaughters wedding. *********'s website claims to order your birth certificate faster. I orderd my birth certificate on *****************, and they then emailed me saying it will be delivered on September 9, 2025. They also charged me $21 for *** air, but it's unnecessary to send it air with the timeframe given. They also said ******* days to process, but that is not on their website, I was emailed that after the fact. This is a very important document that I need right now. They charged me $80 and I want it back.
