  FAIRSTEAD - Should NOT Be Allowed to Manage ANY Development Under ANY Administration Across the 5 **************. FAIRSTEAD Conceals LIFE THREATENING CONDITION (CAULK AND PAINT TO CONCEAL) In ALL the Apartment within my Development OWN by *****. As the RESIDENT LEADER, I WANT THEM GONE. FAIRSTEAD, Has Willfully and Intentionally Placed ALL of My Residents In (Life Threatening Conditions Apartments).FAIRSTEAD, Has Given ALL OF My Residents (LIES, False Promises, Deceptions, and Misleading Information). ALL FAIRSTEAD Managed Properties, Needs to Be THOROUGHLY INSPECTED. FAIRSTEAD, is Negligent, Corrupt, Bullies, Harassers.

  Fairstead management is not just the worst "management" company I have ever encountered. THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY OVERALL THAT I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I would rather work with convicted con artist ***** ********** than anyone at this company. This building would be better off managed by the New York City subway rats than Fairstead. At least that way when I consistently have rodent issues, itd be easier to contact them than anyone at Fairstead. For context, I have been living in a building in ************* for 2.5 years when they took over mid-tenure. I cannot believe how unresponsive, unhelpful, and incompetent they are. They also never respond to emails and have not once picked up the phone nor returned voicemails. Maintenance requests via their website consistently go unanswered. I have had issues with simple appliance maintenance requests as well as rampant rodent and bug infestations that impact not just my own apartment, but the entire building. Yet they still do absolutely nothing. When my key broke on the lock of the door to the building, they wouldnt replace it for MONTHS. I had to keep getting buzzed in by friendly neighbors. They were literally denying my access to the building at which I was a tenant through their comical inaction and nonresponsiveness. They also tried to charge me $100 for a replacement even after the months of no responses. Also, despite having previously renewed my lease for a 2-year term, they tried to get me to sign a new renewal halfway through, seemingly forgetting that I was on a 2 year term or trying to scrap my original deal. Plus, I was told by the previous superintendent and the new superintendent that they deliberately instruct them not to give out any phone numbers to tenants, nor to help them out directly with any of their problems. The address they give in their autogenerated emails and on their online portal is also just the addresses of the buildings being managed. Meaning there is no place to talk to anyone!

  7 year resident of an apartment building Fairstead managed until this month. I was straight up lied to about a renewal lease for 3+ months. Told numerous times that it had been mailed when that was not the case. Dozens of calls and emails left unanswered by the rude office staff. Heaven forbid anything dire actually happened in the apartment because I'm sure that wouldn't have been handled properly either. Finally show up to the management office and refuse to leave until I get what I came for and the renewal lease begrudgingly provided to me had incorrect dates listed and I STILL don't have a corrected copy, which has been requested numerous times. It should not be this difficult to essentially give people money each month. If you're looking to rent at a Fairstead property... reconsider.
