      Bait and Switch! Not a trust worthy company! I was supposed to get flash sale prices of $14.95 but once in the cart the price changed to full price. I couldn't get them on the live chat after 45 minutes. I didn't want to lose the deal so i found a 25% off promo and made the purchase in the meantime. I called them a few days later and they said basically, too bad, sale is over! They told me to send an email. I had sent several chat messages including a screenshot of the $14.95 clearance sale banner. To make a long story short, I've made about 6 calls to these people from November 27th to January 20th, at least 2 emails, 3 chat messages, and the end result is too bad. I saw 1 attempt of them calling me back but they disconnected the call before I could answer which meant they didn't even want to leave me a message. They just didn't try to honor their systems mistake at all. I'm shipping back 3 of the shoes but I don't trust them at all. They claim it's a free return but I can't trust them. Frankly I'm scared to ship back and end up with no shoes and no refund. A very crooked company with very poor outsourced (outside of *******) customer service. I have to keep 2 pairs... 1 pair was calculated correct and was final sale and the 2nd pair were dress shoes my son needed for the holidays and had to wear, otherwise they deserve ALL the shoes back and the entire order cancelled! Beware of Bait and Switch and No Empathy. This is a cold, callus company.

      VERY SLOW TO ISSUE REFUNDS. Love Stride Rite shoes for my kiddo, but I've had two frustrating experiences recently concerning refunds of returned items. In one case the package had been returned on October 3 (I saw receipt was confirmed on the tracking log), but I had to follow up today (12/1) to inquire about my refund as it has still not been issued. The customer service rep claimed it was because they didn't have the tracking information to confirm that they received the item, which I find odd considering that they are the ones who issued the return label. (??) The fact that this has happened twice in the past 4 months makes me question whether they are holding onto money for as long as possible until customers follow up about their refund. If so, YIKES. I will say that when I have followed up with customer service, the refund has been issued promptly.

      I ordered a pair of Stride Rite shoes for my granddaughter online from their website. I paid extra for "express shipping", which was 2-4 days. When I tracked the shipment with the tracking number they provided, it showed a delivery date of 6-7 days. This was not what I expected or paid for. I contacted their customer service via chat on their website and was advised that I should have added 1-2 days to their express shipping 2-4 days to account for order processing. This was deceptive as I didn't see that mentioned anywhere when selecting my method of shipment. If I had, I certainly wouldn't have paid and extra $15 for it! I would have ordered from ****** and gotten the shoes in less time with free shipping. I would highly discourage anyone thinking about ordering online from their website. If you do, don't go with express shipping unless you add 2 days onto their shipping time for undisclosed processing time.

      I have a kid who needs an XW which isn't to be found in any *** store that I know of. The quality of the shoe is fine and I've had to return shoes once or twice and even though they were slow, I got a refund. My issue is their website and customer service. When I filter the size, it does no good. It shows me shoes that are completely sold out. I can't any shoes for him! I found one pair of shoes that was $50, put it in my cart, and it shows the shoe is $64! I tried filling out a complaint and all it asked for was subject so I put in the subject saying their website is clunky but it never asked for any more than the subject. So I get a response from "customer service" that they are working on it. That's all. They don't even know what I'm complaining about. I am done with them until they have real customer service and a website that works and they actually have ANY shoes in stock. They've stuck parents like me between a rock and a hard place when I can't even get my kid a pair of shoes. Thankfully, I discovered *ONE* other brand that carries extra-wide for kids. But that's it.

      I have ordered Stride Rites many times throughout the years for my kids. Recently I ordered a pair of shoes from Amazon, they were Stride Rite brand though. My son wore them for less than 2 months and they fell apart. I contacted stride rite and asked for a replacement or a credit and they refused because I didnt purchase them directly from them. I refuse to support a company that will not stand by their product so they lost me as a customer.

      I love Stride Rite shoes for my little one but beware when ordering online. I placed an order on 7/28 and had not received a shipment notification so I reached out to their customer service email on 8/8 with an email inquiry as it stated I would hear something back within 48 hours. By 8/10 I hadn't received an email back so I found a phone number on their web site, spoke with someone who looked up my order and stated that neither shoe that I ordered was in stock so they would issue me a refund. I am glad I got my money back but I am not sure that I would have if I hadn't contacted them.
