I recently purchased tickets from an agent and encountered a clear case of fraud. The agent falsely claimed to have refunded my previous tickets from another companysomething that isnt even possible. He then pretended to enter a confirmation number into the credit card machine for the refund but refused to provide a receipt. Instead, he insisted I would receive an email confirmation in 3 to 6 hours, which is not standard practice. A legitimate refund always comes with a printed receipt, proving this was a deliberate deception.Additionally, he initially told me the ticket price was $36 but charged me $49. When I questioned the overcharge and requested a refund, he abruptly stated that all sales are final. This is unacceptable, and I am requesting an immediate refund along with a proper receipt for the transaction.Initial Complaint

On 7 February 2025, a man who purported to be a ** ****** ****** employed and acting under the authority of Statue City Cruises charged a total of USD 118 to my debit card. This was done fraudulently without my authority, under the false guise that he and his company (which I later learnt is All Attractions City Tours, LLC) are selling official tickets for ferries to the Statue of Liberty. He claimed that he and his company is properly authorised on the basis that there are CCTV cameras. In addition, he also wore a jacket falsely and misleadingly claiming that he and his company are properly authorised. He also used physical force to stop our departure, and under duress as well as fear of personal safety, we were forced to follow him and his orders, as well as forced us to pay him a "tip" of USD5. In addition, we suffered a loss of enjoyment as we were not able to step foot on either the **************, nor the *****************. The purported services offered were therefore not purchased. Further, we detrimentally relied on the fraudulent misrepresentations of ** ****** and his company and suffered a loss of enjoyment.Customer Answer

All Attractions City Tour LLC misled me to wrong ferry tour to see Statue of Liberty. They were waiting toursits at ************ and misled them to Pier 40 on their bus, which has Super ***** paintings on surface to make it look like an authorized and sponsored by ********. Tourists including me were looking for Statue City Cruises, but All Attractions City Tour LLC guys lied to us that it will take 4 hours in total on a ferry provided by Statue City Cruises, and made us to buy their expensive tickets for ferry that does not stop at the islands. I was told that their ferry would stop at the islands. i realized that I was lied and ripped off at the ferry but it was too late to find the guys. Is there any way to get refund? I hope NYC can do good to toursits like us. I am from ***** and was so excited to see Statue of Liberty at the island. I apologized to my brother for getting lied and ripped off many times. The ticket was $59/person for very dirty bus and cheap ship that does not stop at the islands. Thank you.Initial Complaint

I bought tickets for the Statue of Liberty ferry but the agent did not disclose the full price of the ticket upfront. He said it was $35 but charged my credit card of $59. He later said after charging my card that there was a five dollar credit card fee, and then the rest was the taxes and fees. When I immediately asked for a refund, he refused. We were also told that we could get on the 3:30 ferry but that was not true and had to wait for more than an hour.Initial Complaint

I bought tickets for the status of ************* at ************. The agent did not disclose the total amount before the purchase and did not disclose the credit card fees. He said the tickets were 35 but then I was charged 59. When I immediately asked to cancel he said that was not possible. When I inquired about the ferry ticket office he lied and said theyve closed them after covid.Initial Complaint

On 1/4/2025 morning, my daughter, my wife, and myself arrived the *********** in *************, planning explore the area. A bunch of this ************** agents approached us, telling us they were working there, and that the view point was under construction, the Liberty Statue ferry would start in 15 minutes, and took one hour, for $39. I agreed and paid with my credit card. He then asked us to follow him to the ferry. He took us to a hop-on-hop-off bus instead. It took an hour to get to pier 40 and wait another half an hour for their cruise. I realized that we were scrammed. I opened the big roll of paper tickets, noticed that it was actually $59 per person, not $39. It was a liberty cruise +double ****** bus ride ticket. These agents were not working for the south ferry. At cruise end, no one told us where we can ride the bus back. The bus stop we got down was heading to other parts of the city. We had to follow ****** map to walk 2 miles back under strong wind at 32 degree. Our day was ruined, both my wife and my daughter got sick after that. I called the phone number in the ticket, asked for refund. I was told that those agents were independent contractors, and all sales were final. I cant believe such scram happens in *************.Customer Answer

I was attempting to get to the *******************. Workers from All Attractions City Tours blocked me from walking to the ferry and told me I had to buy a ticket to go any further. They told me the ticket was $30 and I got charged $50. I was then led to a double ****** bus in the opposite direction of the Statue of Liberty. The bus drove and dropped us off at *******. I was told it would be a one hour cruise and but I had to wait over an hour for the cruise. This company is deceiving tourists and telling them they have to buy tickets instead of taking the *******************. Mostly everyone who purchased tickets was from out of the country.Customer Answer
