I purchased tickets on July 3 for a July 4th event via Eventbright. The cost was $159.98 and was my card. on July 4th around 3 oclock I get the email stating that I was only going to be refunded $145.84 that should be by July 14. I have not received the refund amount. Also I just spoke with someone at attractions4us stating that we will not get the Eventbright fee back. I did not request a refund the refund was due to this company who should cover that fee and refund me the total amount of $159.98. I also feel that this was some type of fraud because when i went back to eventbrite to attempt to retrieve the ticket i noticed that the price when from $79.99 to $120+. The order number that he received from Eventbrite was **********. We have the evidence of from the event bright that his order was confirmed.Business Response

Date of transaction 03/14/2024 $98.89 This business was supposed to provide a boat cruise tour of *** I had bought tickets through Eventbrite on the 14th of March, waited for my tickets or confirmation only to not receive any. I called their offices and sent emails, no answers. The next day March 15th which is within the refund policy timeframe, I emailed Eventbrite and the company that I would need my refund since there was no response from anyone about the trip, no address on where to go, nothing provided by email or through the Eventbrite app. They responded after the date of service to tell me why I did not go to the location; they dont provide tickets online. Could you imagine paying for a service and not being provided a confirmation of payment for that service? Nothing on the description says they do not provide tickets or confirmation. Even at that? Why would a company not issue a receipt of confirmation after my bank card was charged? This is totally wrong and alarming. This company has continuously ignored resolving this issue, they have told me to email the same people I emailed.This issue contains advertising from Eventbrite and Eventbrite has continuously referred me to contact the organizers to get the refund without no help from them.Business Response

We informed this guest that they did not need additional tickets to take our cruise. After purchasing their tickets on Eventbrite, these guests were emailed the confirmation page and receipt, which has our location listed. On the Eventbrite website booking page, the departure location for our cruise is listed. The departure location is listed before you purchase tickets, and after you purchase tickets listed on your voucher sent to the guest via email. Please see the screenshot from the Eventbrite website booking page attached. Also attached to this correspondence is a screenshot of their reservation saved in our internal system under reservation number ****** and the attendance roster from that date. The pink checkmarks on the attendance roster indicate all of our other guests who were able to properly check in and take the cruise. We were fully operational on this date. There are no refunds since we were fully operational and there were no cancellations. We cannot refund missed tours since the seats were saved for these guests.Customer Answer

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I have one word for this company, scam. Ask them to provide the info as to where the email of confirmation was sent. And if they falsify any documents I will make sure courts are involved. I can send BBB a snap shot of my emails. If I had a confirmation, why would I bring it up that I didnt have one? My reason for cancelling was sent to event brite asking them where my confirmation email was, this company did not send one thing for a confirmation. Please simply ask them how they send out confirmation and receipts to their customers and youd like to see the email sent out to me with dates of receipts generated.

I recently purchased two tickets for a valentines day dinner cruise with attractions4us. although the scenery was stunning we mainly paid for the food and by the time we got to it there was nothing but scraps left over for us to eat. my girlfriend is a vegetarian and when booking the cruise i specifically mentioned that and was assured by the booking agent that there would be options for her to eat and to our dismay and frustration there was not. all that remained was cold salad limp cold potatoes and lukewarm vegetables. the food i ate was disgusting and after 3 bites i couldn't stomach anymore of it or i would've gotten sick. the lack of food caused my girlfriend to have 3 different panic attacks at the same time ultimately the dinner ruining our entire night and valentines day.i had sent 5 emails and spoken to 7 different customer service representatives in the last week since the cruise and am now finally being responded too. all i asked for was a full refund of ****** i spent to be given back to me and i was met with nothing but rudeness discourteousness and incompetency. when telling the situation the reps tried to twist it around make it seem like i didn't ask for vegetarian food for my girlfriend and are only giving me a fifty percent refund as a courtesy. this company is grossly negligent and severely underprepared. having spent 14 years in the food industry myself it was appalling and disgusting way to conduct customer service.Initial Complaint

On 12/31/22 I purchased 7 *** Tickets from evenbrite in the amount of $3427.34. for a New Years Eve 2023 family celebration aboard the Celebration Yacht, departing from *****. Order#**********,This was advertise as premium views for *** Seats, Food ,Open bar and DJ live music. Upon arrival The seating was limited to accomodate no more than 6 people in the *** area for **************************************** charge and explaining that my 70 year old mother could not stand for 3 hours. He asked to please wait and came back to the front of the yacht until we have already left the ******* He stated that this was a Dance party and seats were not guaranteed. I showed him the receipt which clearly stays *** Seats and he said there was nothing he can do. We proceded to get in line for the food but there was no food left for us on the back of the line. soft drinks and cocktails were provided, But I was asked to pay if I wanted Wine which was part of the list of drinks included. I submitted a refund request on 1/4/23 to *************************************** The reason for the request stated they failed to provide what was advertised: seating, food and ask for money for drinks. The request was declined . I emailed them again in disputing the denial and was asked to provide a phone number so the Manager ******************************* can contact me. I emailed back my phone number on 1/6/23 and as of today have not been contacted. This was a New Years Eve event. There was more than enough food for 2 portions for every guest on the boat. The Front section had seats and coaches. This was NOT a sit down dinner and was advertised as a open bar, Live DJ and Dancing event with Fireworks. Clients did join the event and celebrated New Years Eve. The event was advertise with an option of VIP Tickets for 30 SEATS. I bought 7 Seats, as display on the receipt I submitted. The fact that in the response is mentioned that the seating was limited admits that they failed to provide what was listed on the advertisement and then printed on the ticket. Regarding the lack of food. This was a buffet style with no one in charge of portion control. The fact is that my family was at the back of the line and there was a few salami slices, a few olives and a few pieces of melon by the time we got to the buffet area. I would like a refund as They failed to provide what was promised. Add the physical stress and pain caused to my 70 year old mother who had to stand for 3 hours.
