      Would give ZERO stars!!
We went to purchase a 5th wheel from Colton RV at the show at our local fairgrounds. They ran our credit and said we were approved to purchase the camper. At the show we started the paperwork process, they asked for a down payment and said later in the week we would meet with the financing team to discuss numbers. At the show nothing was shown to us about interest rates. We picked out payment and said we would meet the financing team then the numbers would be shown. After having the meeting and seeing how much everything would be we decided that we couldn't make that commitment at this time. When we told them this they said our 5000.00!! Wouldn't be returned to us and to either buy the camper or lose our money! We would have never put that much down if we knew we wouldn't receive our money back. Or the numbers would have been shown to us in the first place. They made us feel like we were getting a great deal and we were saving so much when in the end we were losing. I said I would try and pay cash so we wouldn't be paying so much in interest and they said we wouldn't receive the show price that was listed when we signed paper work at the show.

I would give zero stars if I could. We were repeat customers of Colton RV. The shady sales tactics started from the beginning. We were originally talking to Erin. When arrived to look at some RV's we were stuck with Lucas. He gave us a lot of talk about the value of our trade in, of course. They held our $2000 (deposit to hold a camper as we decided or not to purchase it) for over 3 weeks. Trying to get a call back for the return of our deposit was like pulling teeth. Lucas calling us back finally asking if we were sure that transaction occurred, after we gave them the date it was pulled from our account!! SHADY! Finally received a call back from them today to get our account number to return our money. Asked when I could expect it... about a week and a half. (Lucas had originally told us it would only take 2 days to be returned to our account. We will be working with a competitor in the future.

We have been steady customers of Colton for over 20 years having purchased 3 coaches and using their service department for all service-related issues.
Quality of service and sales experiences has been substandard for all these years but as the only provider within easy driving distance we had no choice.
But recently, ‘substandard’ has plummeted to non-existent. Phone calls go unanswered, messages are not returned, and if you drive to their facility for emergency help, you may be told they can’t look at your problem for 3 months.
July 14, 2023, we needed a hose replaced. The job was finally completed. August 24, 2023 after many phone calls and unanswered messages. The bill was $1100.00. However when we picked up the coach, a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT came on making it unsafe to drive. Plus the door handle was broken off and left sitting on the dash. So the parts manager put it back in for service and they decided they had to replace major portions of the DEF system. The bill for that job was $2035.00. However when we stared up the coach for the trip to Florida, the same CHECK ENGINE light came on making it unsafe to drive.
Colton said they couldnt’ help us so we drove very slowly to a ******* dealer nearby and they found that Colton had reversed the wiring.
The repairs to correct that error was $247.00.
Colton service manager told us to send *******’s bill to him which we’ve done and also asked him to look after it and refund the $2000.00 charge for the earlier botched job.
We have not received a reply..
I do not recommend this company.

Harvey is awesome! He was very patient with our many questions and provided knowledgeable answers. We will be back and we’ll be asking for Harvey.

If you are thinking of purchasing from Colton RV - run don't walk to someplace else.
I originally posted what a wonderful experience I had purchasing a brand new trailer. I took that post down after I found out how crappy the service after the sale is. We NEVER heard from our salesperson during the 2 weeks it took to get financing. If we could have gotten out of it I would have cancelled then. Got there to sign the papers and then they brought the trailer inside for our walk through because it was pouring. Paperwork signed and then all went to ...
Found a few issues on the outside during the walk through. There is damage on the outside of the trailer that we did not see when we originally looked at it. They will "fix / replace" over the winter. Found out we did not get a $2000 parts credit for the parts store we were promised when we signed the original paperwork. The awning did not work the 2nd weekend we tried. Took over a month to get the parts and get it fixed. The floor in the kitchen is buckling. The toilet in the main bath leaked - this was fixed when the awning was FINALLY fixed. The switch for the new awning does not fit so there is a temporary one so we can use it.
We are seasonal campers and we will be closing up early and they will be towing it back to the shop for the winter. Let's see if we hear from them in the 6 months. WORST customer service experience EVER!!!!

We have a new camper under warranty and they have had it several times with most things they fixed, but still an issue with the slide out and we’re getting ready to leave with our camper.

Purchased 3 travel trailers with Colton RV and will never purchase another through them. The first one, we received awesome service. The second one was mediocre service. Now this time is awful, can I put Zero stars on here? We bought the camper last fall and have been on a few weekend local trips with just a few cosmetic issues, doors that don't close right, bad trim pieces... On Memorial Weekend (kick off for camping season...) our refrigerator starting making a clunking noise and quit working. We called Tuesday morning 5/30 for service. The soonest they could get us in was 7/25! So we bought a dorm fridge and suffered the inconveniences for our family trip. On 7/25 we got a terrible run around from the service department, things like we'll know what it needs in an hour... 5 hours later... Finally determined it needed a new refrigerator but had to wait for warranty approval. When we call they say they haven't heard from the dealer. Called the dealer and they approved most of the repairs 8/2 and the refrigerator 8/8 and have emails confirming communications with Colton service. So Colton tells us 5 days on 7/24, then decides the camper will be fixed after 9/7 (end of camping season). They have had my camper since 7/25. My friends bought a camper from a competitor, their fridge broke also, and was replaced under warranty in 2 weeks with the camper at their shop for 2 hours. It isn't the timeline that bothers me as much as their outright lies and the fact that the hide from customers, they don't answer phones and won't talk to you at their store...

We bought a used pontoon boat and were promised that they went through it before they sold it to us. Had it less than a month and only in the water 3 times. The trailer lights stopped working and so did the engine. The dealer told us they could get us in for an apt on Tuesday, and we were allowed to drop it off on Monday. My wife and I had our honeymoon scheduled for Thursday (using our boat.) We didn't hear anything by Tuesday afternoon so I called. They informed us there were mice nests in the trailer that chewed through all the trailer wiring. (Hard to believe, but not worth the arguments.) The service told us they don't have the diagnostic tool to work on ******* boats. Here is my problem with this. How did the dealership go through and inspect the boat as promised, prior sale, if they don't even have the software tools to run it. Additionally, if they sold us the boat (less than a month ago) they are aware that it is a ******* boat, and they don't have capabilities to fix it. They told us they have been calling other dealers and boat places to see who could help us. Again we didn't hear anything unless we called. They made excuse after excuse, and when we went to pick it up today, they wanted to charge us for a diagnostic run on the boat, they don't even have the software for! The service worker Alex, was very ignorant and rude, turning it back to us and asking if we ever ran wire in a trailer before, and that a boat can break at any moment. We asked if the wiring was all replaced throughout or just in certain spots. They couldn't answer that question. It cost almost $400 to rewire a trailer.

They should be ashamed of their service. We STILL have not heard back and are now out $1200 for nothing. *Briefly, we left our ********* with them with the condition the maintenance was done by our Memorial Day trip. We called multiple times for pick up and had to actually call the retail side for them to get ahold of service since they did not answer the phones for days. What service does not answer the phone during open hours for days at a time? The day we needed to pick up and were told it was not even touched yet. No problem. We agreed to pick it up two hours later and to bring it back when you had time. We did not even complain about the inconvenience of leaving it there so long and no work done. Upon pick up, two hours later, they charged us the full $1200, including SIX HOURS OF LABOR (impossible) and little of the work was done. Two rivets replaced and an ebrake fixed. That's it. We paid (mistake) because we had a trip for a memorial service scheduled and thought we could bring it back for the rest of the work. Now, CRICKETS and no calls or emails returned. We made another appointment at another dealership and will pay AGAIN to have our minor repairs done. Was this worth the bad press (Yes, I'm telling EVERYONE) just to save a few bucks? We were even willing to return and tie up the ********* again to get the work done, but the service does not even return calls. They should be ashamed and the ********* groups recommended we take this further. For anyone reading this, skip this scam and take the trip to ******** ********* and see Patrick. It's worth the trouble.

Do not deal with them. Very untrustworthy! They pressured me into signing a contract and putting money down and will the deal fell through They kept my deposit. But they had given me a deal at the rv show that was not actually what they could do. On Monday when they came back with the deal it was totally different with a higher finance rate than quoted. Therefore it was not what I had signed up for and could not make the new payment. Now they won't give me back my deposit because they said I didn't hold up my end. But they didn't either. Total scammers. Buyer beware!
