      10 negative. Worst company to deal with ever. They waste your time. Do not give product you’re paid for and make you work to prove each transaction. They were given all information yet, they want more. This is a scam service. Frustration levels of your employees will skyrocket.

      I used to work for a company that used Paychex. When I left, I planned to use ***** insurance through them and sent in the paperwork as soon as I received it. However, they had turned off the insurance and it took another 6 weeks and countless hours on hold with customer service begging them to turn it on so that my spouse could get critical medication. This was bad enough to receive a 0 star review on its own, however, they recently contacted me out of the blue with an "urgent issue." They sent an email with poor grammar and threats that they were going to send me to collections for an errant $150 HSA contribution that they made to my account over a year and a half ago. It seemed so much like a phishing attempt, I went through their website to respond to it in case they had been hacked. However, it was a real email and they immediately threatened to send it to collections if they aren't repaid for their error within 23 days. No documentation was given, just threats. I have not worked for this company for a year and a half and I used up my HSA a long time ago. This is a horrid company.

      Paychex fraudulently filed a report for our 3rd Quarter, they were made aware of this and still have yet to fix the issue therefore our actual payroll company can not submit our actual quarterly report. Paychex has yet to resolve the issue and has been contacted numerous times with a call back only once just confirming the complaint. I would not recommend this company and legal action will be taken if this is not resolved by the date they were given,

      Paychex’s has been one of the worst companies that I have ever had to deal with. I had a horrible on board experience and they still don’t pay or file one of my taxes even though I they are suppose to. When I got hit with the penalties they refused to pay even though I have their rep telling me they would. Now it’s been 2 weeks and my employees still have not received their checks. Took them a week to tell me UPS lost them. They supposedly reissued and sent them out but still don’t have them. However we did receive a package label to us but the checks we receive we brick oven pizza. We are a property management company. Don’t use them they are horrible.

      DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. How can a company have so many complaints and poor reviews and still have an A rating with the BBB? I told Paychex that I was shutting down my company in February of 2022. They've continued to charge me for the last 7 months. I've left 3 messages, and sent two emails to my rep. No call back. I've left her manager two messages. NO call back. They continue to charge my account.

      I signed up for their 401K service. I was on hold trying for two hours trying to get my 401K contribution. After two hours, they hung up on me. I didn't have the time or the desire to call back in again. It's the first time in 15 years that I didn't make a contribution. Now I'm on hold for a 5th time this month trying to complete something that they should have taken care of 7 months ago. RIDICULOUS. Somebody sue this company.

      Very frustrated with lack of communications regarding onboarding our people into the 401K product. It seems the account representative who signed us up is not longer with the company and nobody has picked up the ball. Frustrated owner who has used paychex for payroll and workmans comp insurance for years on years. Is there anyone at Paychex who can help?

      DO NOT use this company. They overcharged my small company of two (2) the administrative processing fee for over six months. The account representative noted and identified that they had indeed overcharged and would immediately process a efund. It has been over eight weeks and Paychex has had one excuse upon another for their ineptness in processing a refund. They provide high level lip service and fail to follow through displaying extremely poor integrity. I was informed by account representative how much she loved her company and how she was just made aware of issue, only to find out that our CPA representatives had been speaking directly to this individual for over 5 plus weeks (and that the CPA company was also attempting to collect on a refund from PayChex for the exact same unscrupulous billing behaviors). Major RED FLAGS with this company. I "DO NOT recommend" this company!

      I DONT WANT TO LEAVE ANY STAR.
      This company is appalling the way they do business. I run payroll for 1 person and I have a retirement plan. I am trying to transfer a 401k and they are giving me the run around. This has been a ongoing issue since March. I never seem to get the same person to help me, I could be on the phone waiting for 30 plus minutes to try and solve this issue which never got resolved. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

      This company does not give any warning if they want more information on a medical bill claim before suspending your hra/fsa benefit card. Your account when logged in does not give any information and states you have no accounts if you have a hra or fsa administered by paychex. There is no customer service email and calling a customer service line is only available during certain times. This company is very hard to deal with and should be avoided if you are looking for a benefits administrator for your company's fsa or hra.
