This business was hired to install a pellet stove in my home. The day of installation, after 10 hours, all that was done was the item unboxed, a hole cut out of the backboard for my outlet and half a hole cut into my wall. The installer had cut a water pipe by accident, which caused us to have to shut off our water for the day also! He claimed he could fix the plumbing issue he caused, but first needed to leave to drop someone off at the train station. We started panicking and calling emergency plumbersits now after 11:00pm! We are left with a hole in the wall and no water. Tried getting their insurance policy for the plumbing bill, but he didnt have that information. Waiting on response from company, ********* location. We left his buckets of tools on the driveway and messaged him that he was fired. Took photos documenting everything, including his tools. This company was recommended by our boiler company, which is why we chose them. Needless to say, it was our fault for not researching their reviews first! Also, their *** states they are licensed and insured, which is hard to prove, and we cannot locate that information!

I hired Shamrock C&C **** to sweep my Chimney on 10/10/22. Two men came to my house, one came inside with a vacuum and the other went on the roof. The man on the roof came in about 5 minutes later and told me he was done with the chimney sweep and he was going back up to put a new chimney cap on. I went up on the roof and could see the top of the inside of the chimney, it still looked dirty. I questioned the man and asked him if he could sweep it again and he told me he had been doing this for 15 years and thats the best he could do. I never saw him use a chimney sweep brush. I paid them $325 and they left. A couple of days later I decided to take closer look at the work, I took the cap off and looked down the chimney. It was clear to me at that point that he did not sweep the chimney at all, there were no signs of anything being put inside the chimney, in fact there were old cob webs inside still. I took several photos and a video showing how easily I could remove some of the debris with just my hand. I proceeded to contact the company and they instructed me to send an email to the main office. I sent an email immediately with the photos and video. Several days have passed and I have not gotten a response, I also tried to contact the phone number used previously with a call and text and I am not receiving any response In addition to them not Performing the work I feel I was left with a Fire Hazard, the guy on site told me it was safe for use when it clearly was not swept.

I have been in touch with Shamrock on and off since October 2021 about work that was performed on the exterior of my chimney back in February 2021. Originally, loose paint and material was stripped, it was repointed in some areas and the entire chimney was dry-locked. When the work was performed I was told I would have a one year warranty.Once the weather started to turn, in October 2021, I started to notice chipping and small parts of the dry-lock coming off again. I reached out to Shamrock at that time with a photo and request for warranty service. Because of the season, we played some phone tag and determined it would be best to wait until the warmer Spring 2022 weather. We mutually agreed to postpone the work and that it would not affect the warranty since I reported the complaint within 8 months. I should add that the fireplace has not been used since before the original service to this date.I have spent since March 2022 trying to arrange for Shamrock to come to my home and fix the exterior of my chimney. The best part is that they told me upon my initial compliant that the work requires two consecutive days of 50 degree or warmer weather. They should have told their technicians this when they did the original work in February 2021, when it was in the 30's. It's now a year since my original reach out and the best I've gotten is "We should have someone out in the next week or two.. thanks for your patience." Now, they don't answer my texts or calls at all. I don't even want these folks to do the work - I would prefer a refund for the defective portion so I can hire someone that actually cares.

We hired Shamrock Chimney to remove the original chimney cap, install a new crown and new cap. The work was attempted to be done on 6/16/22. We told the installer the job looked terrible. He insisted it will look better when dried and weathered a bit. On 7/5/22 I called the company to tell them how disappointed with the work that was done. The woman who answered provided an email address and stated that a representative of the company would get back to me ***** hours after sending the email. I sent an email outlining at the time what I thought was everything but have since found we have cement splatter allover our windows and side of the house that won't come off. We never got a response. I called back again, spoke with the same woman, she said she would have someone call me back. I never got any call back. I had asked for a copy of their insurance certificate, she said a manager would have to provide it. It states on their website they are licensed meaning they are insured. The installer assured me that they were insured and said I could find the info on their website. All the work that they did needs to be redone. We have to pay an additional $700 to have the chimney scrubbed down with an acidic wash to get the mess off the chimney and there is no guarantee that it will come off. The splatter is also all over the side of our house and all the windows on that side. I tried washing them and it doesn't come off. We will have to hire a professional window cleaner and if that doesn't work we will have to replace windows/glass. We are not sure the acidic wash will work on the chimney because Shamrock used sealer over all of the splatters. I have already contacted my credit card company so Shamrock will not be paid for any of the work done, however, we now will have to pay more money than what we originally paid them to fix the chimney stains and window issues.

Kind words do not resolve the damage that was done.  Why did it take over two years to respond to the complaint. You requested that I reach out to you directly to resolve the issue, yet you provide no contact information.  You should be contacting me by sending me your insurance information.  There is nothing your company can do on site to resolve this issue and after the work that was performed and the damage done you are not allowed on our property.  If you want to rectify the situation, call your insurance company and have them send out an adjuster.

I hired this company to repair 2 chimney caps which were damaged in a storm. They used slate caps that were both too small to cover each of the 2 chimneys. I paid $5100 which is a lot of money to me and I expected a professional job. In addition to the main job of 2 chimey caps repaired/replaced, several other actions were promised (flashing repaired or enhanced, pointing to damaged or missing mortar) although only 1 was documented in the contract (waterproofing of both chimneys). None of this was done. And a lesser issue is that no cleanup was done. I need to have all of these items completed correctly.

Also, I should have mentioned in my original complaint that I contacted them at least 4 times and was told they were reviewing with their "technical guy" and would get back to me which they never did. Also, I was looking to either have the right sized slates installed or enough of a refund to contract with another ***** to do the work.

They have had years to address my complaint but stopped taking my calls and ignored every effort to contact them about this, They list a rep  in western Mass to the ******** agency that licenses them to operate in the state who apparently doesn't exist.
