I purchased two butcher block countertops from Global Industrial which arrived on 9-20-2022. Both countertops were severly defective. Big chunks of wood missing on both sides of the countertops as shown in the attached pictures. There was no damage to the packaging, these items were not damaged in shipping, they were shipped defective by Global Industrial. I refused the shipment, and the countertops were returned by the shipping company to Global industrial. I have contacted Global Industrial 4 times and been unable to get a refund. The amount due me is $1059.61.History of attempts to contact Global Industrial:9/20/22: Sent email with photos of the defective countertops. No response 9/21/22: Called Global industrial. They said they would look into it and get back to me. They did not get back to me.9/23/22: Called Global industrial again. They said the shipping company was returning the item and I would get my refund by 9/30/22. No refund was issued 10/5/22: Called Global industrial again. Gave them my order number and the operator said she would put me on a brief hold while she looked at the notes. After being put on hold for 20 minutes I was hung up on.I believe this is a scam where they knowingly send out severely defective products then make it exceedingly difficult to get a refund.Business Response

On 1/7/22 Order # ********, I placed an order for a steel trash can. I paid for this using a credit card. When I received this item instead of all the pieces for the trash can, as they came in multiple boxes, the shipper missing labeled the boxes and instead I received a power strip instead of the steel drum for the trash can. It was very difficult communicating with the company to get a resolution multiple times but after 2 weeks they finally re-shipped me the correct items, the sent me a label to ship the power strip back. I still have the emails for all of this. In the end everything worked out but definitely was hesitant to do business with them again. Fast forward to 9/21/22 I get a notice from ************************************* a Accounts Receivable Specialist with Global Industrial stating I'm on a credit hold due to non-payment when they shipped the replacement trash can. This was already paid for on 1/7/22. I'm not sure if they're trying to scam me or what but this is some of the worse service I've ever received and company I've dealt with. I want to be removed from this credit hold and if anyone can explain why this entire process has been so difficult from start to months later.Business Response

On September 01, 2022 I ordered the ****************** Industrial Roll ****** for $ ********. It arrived on September 11, 2022. The shipping crate was in perfect condition however upon opening and unwrapping the machine it was evident that their supplier **************, a *********, ** based company had shipped me a severely disfigured, dented and scratched machine that clearly appeared to be a used unit. I payed for the purchase of a NEW machine. Not knowing what caused the outer damage I can not be certain that there is internal damage that *** surface in the near future.. I began inquiring on September 12th, 2022 WHY a used unit was shipped to me and asking for a replacement or refund. Global Industrial has acknowledged receiving my claim and on the surface appeared to be understanding however as of this date there has been no satisfactory offer of resolution. I placed an order with Global Industrial, order number ******** on 12 September 2022 and Global Industrial provided a delivery date of Wednesday 13 September 2022 by CENTRAL TRANSPORT-TRUCKING. Delivery has never happened as Global Industrial informed me Wednesday 13 September 2022 the delivery date was delayed until Thursday 15 September 2022 which never happened. At that point I requested Global Industrial refund my purchase in the amount of $415.69 and Global Industrial stated the refund of the 150 dollar shipping fee was out of the question and that would not happen. Global Industrial then informed me CENTRAL TRANSPORT-TRUCKING would deliver the two products Friday 16 September 2022 which the deliver never happened even after CENTRAL TRANSPORT-TRUCKING telephoned me Thursday afternoon at 2:52 p.m. 15 September 2022 to confirm Friday 16 September delivery of which I replied I would be home waiting on CENTRAL TRANSPORT-TRUCKING Friday 16 September 2022. I telephoned CENTRAL TRANSPORT-TRUCKING Friday 16 at at 2:13 p.m. and was informed me they will not deliver the two items until Thursday 22 September 2022. I am tired of being lied to by Global Industrial and CENTRAL TRANSPORT-TRUCKING and I demand a full refund of my order in the amount of $415.69. I ordered two cutting mats with grids (item WBB621966, order ********) on July 13, 2022. I received the package on 7.19.22. The package only contained the 2 grids. It did not contain the self-healing mats. I have attempted NUMEROUS TIMES to reach someone concerning this. I have received several emails back stating that they are checking with the warehouse, and that they would contact me again in ***** hours. We ordered a large industrial fan for a client who we were fabricating a large building for. The fan had a promising lead time, so we decided to pull the trigger on it. We received the fan on the 23rd of June, and installed it the first week of July. Here we are on August 15th and there is no resolution in site. Global Industrial continuously asks for patience, even though we purchased a $4,000 piece of equipment, brand new, and have waited 2 months to use this. I strongly urge anyone to stay away from Global Industrial at all cost. Whatever the lead time is, or cost savings, it will not be worth it having to deal with anyone from their company and lack of urgency resolving any issue. The fact that they can charge for something like this and not help you out with any solution / replacement, is borderline criminal.Business Response

I was looking for a item that I couldnt find on line. So I called the company spoke to a sales person described what I was looking for. He stated he found it so I purchased it. I had placed an order through global industrial, on July 26th, order number: ********. they said the order would be delivered on August 2nd, and paid a $36.99 shipping charge. It didn't arrive on the 2nd of August. The company emailed me stating I would receive the order on August 10th. On August 3rd I canceled the order due to untimely delivery after paying shipping to have it delivered on the 2nd of august. After canceling the order, the company emails me on stating the order Weill be there on the 5th of August with an extra charge of $12.88. On the 5th the tires were delivered, then picked up again by the delivery driver. I want to make sure that my credit card is credited the total amount from my order. Hello - we are a small business that ordered an 80gal air ********** from Global Industrial on 4/20. Order #: ********. PO #: ********** We paid $3,081.00. The unit was received on 5/17. We noticed damage on the top half of the unit, which was originally covered by packaging during delivery, on 5/18. We filed a claim with Global Industrial on 5/18. Today, 8/3, is the first time the unit has started due to repair time and delays from the Retailer and OEM. There have been hours work, phone calls, 100+ emails between myself and multiple reps at Global Industrial (Distributor) and Quincy ********** (OEM). The initial damage included:1x Top OP valve sheered off 2x Impact marks on reservoir tank just below large pully/pulley cage 1x Bent bracket 1x ********* chamber + il residue on one side of the unit Global Industrial was initially responsive and coordinated the replacement of some, but not all, of the broken parts. Eventually, Global Industrial referred us to the **** Quincy ********** to replace the broken parts and get the unit serviced. This was on 6/7. Quincy ********** supplied the remaining broken parts and sent a technician at the cost of $1,268.42. The service was scheduled on 6/29. The service was performed on 7/11.We paid full price for a ********** with the full expectation it would be in working order upon arrival. It arrived inoperable due to damage at Global Industrial's warehouse or in transit. In addition, we had to pay for a 3rd party to come to service the unit at our own expense. We are seeking relief/compensation for the hassle of coordinating this service + the expense of buying a non-functional unit and paying to repair it + impact to our business operations.Global Industrial has since stopped responding to my communications. Their unresponsiveness + lack of accountability is frustrating and unprofessional. We are seeking relief from the burden of paying full price for an inoperable unit.Business Response

I ordered a floor cleaner and it arrived and did not work out of the box. The floor cleaner has a vacuum and the vacuum keeps shutting off which makes the machine unusable. I have contacted the company at least a dozen times since receiving my order(by phone and by email) and they have not given me a solution and have now stopped responding to me. I also purchased an extended warranty on this item, so it should be covered in some manner. There is no visible damage to the machine, it just does not work.
