    I am filing this complaint to warn others about Rochester Residential Remodeling. Despite their A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), my experience was plagued with subpar work and serious issues. I strongly advise against hiring them for any future projects.
    Issues:
    Inadequate Supervision:
    The work was poorly supervised, leading to visible gaps in the flooring and sloppy craftsmanship.
    Unleveled Ceiling and Poor Light Installation:
    The ceiling was uneven, and the can lights were installed asymmetrically, ruining the final look.
    Substandard Work:
    The flooring had visible gaps. The plumber tore up the new floor behind the refrigerator, and the electrician scratched the floor during stove installation.
    Unsafe Plumbing and Garbage Disposal Installation:
    The plumber improperly installed the garbage disposal, causing the electrical wires to short and trip the circuit breaker. I had to call another contractor to fix the issue, as I feared being lied to or overcharged by Rochester Residential Remodeling. This posed a serious safety risk.
    Job Site Disarray:
    The job site was consistently left messy, with debris left on my porch for weeks despite multiple cleanup requests.
    Poor Communication and Runaround:
    The contractor’s communication was unprofessional. I was bounced back and forth between the foreman and contractor, causing delays. I received little to no direct communication or follow-through, and my concerns went unresolved for extended periods.
    Failure to Honor Agreements:
    The contractor failed to meet the agreed-upon scope of work, timelines, and expectations, forcing me to seek alternative contractors.
    Conclusion:
    Given the poor quality of work, safety hazards, and lack of professional communication, I am shocked that Rochester Residential Remodeling holds an A+ rating with the BBB. The experience was costly and frustrating. I strongly advise consumers to avoid them for any future projects.
