On December 27th, 2022, we termianted our contract with Asure after they gave out an unauthorized paycheck to a seasonal employee in the fall of 2022. We worked with Asure to get our money back, we did not receive the money because this employee had removed it from their bank account. We were charged a processing fee for their error, when they attempted to reverse it, just to have it denied based on insufficient funds from the employee. We moved from Asure payroll to ADP and the payroll specialist was sent our termination contract on the 12/27/2022. On 1/3/23 I sent a follow up email to the payroll specialist to confirm that our cancelation went through since there was no response given to the original email containing the cancelation form. I received an email that we were all set. On 2/21/23, $60 was taken from our account from Asure. No invoice was ever received. I called Asure and was informed that it was an inactive fee from not filing payroll for months. I informed them of our cancelation and the specialist was able to find our correspondence, but said it was never sent to the termination team. He assured me we would be refunded, and I would get a call back. The next day, after never getting a call back, I called and asked for a supervisor. I was told one would return my call before the end of the day, and I never got one. Today, I logged into my bank account, and Asure has taken $65 from our account.
