  Long Construction NY was efficient, respectful and careful from the estimate to completion of our roof replacement project. Price was affordable and reasonable. The schedule promised was dependable and the crew was careful and efficient. They were especially aware of garden areas abutting the home and cleanup was exceptional.
  We would highly recommend Long Construction NY for any roofing projects

  Long construction did a complete tear off of my roof two years ago which they completely botched. They left rotting OSB board in multiple places in hopes it would've be found, they left nails protruding from my facia board, put white drip edge on a white house (and even admitted they should've asked what color we wanted), nails protruding from shingles, shingles not properly secured, etc. They came out multiple times to "fix / resolve" issues of which never got resolved. We have been in ligation for over a year now in which long construction refuses to admit they were wrong even though their own inspector admitted multiple wrong doings and major structural issues during depositions. I have refrained from posting reviews due to hopes that Mike Long would do the right thing and rectify the situation but as it stands it appears that we will have to go to court.   Hiring Long Construction was the best decision I’ve made in my home improvement journey. Not only did they listen to what I wanted and addressed any concerns I may have had, they were also responsive and easy to get a hold of whenever I had questions. The staff from the project consultant to the office staff to the project manager to the crew doing the work were kind and attentive and always professional. The owners even came out to the job site and spoke to me on the phone, you can tell they are a part of every job that comes through their door despite them being so busy! 10/10 would recommend hiring this family owned and operated business.

  As a “family” operated business, the owner forced his own brother out because he wasn’t happy with the activity of JOHN O*****, falsifying and altering business documents. Literally said he knows he needs to fire him but will keep him out of spite. The owner is aware that JOHN O***** isn’t licensed to negotiate with insurance companies, which is against the law.
  DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY HANDLE YOUR INSURANCE CLAIM.
  If the owner would treat his own family like this, Imagine how little he cares about your project.
