  I am very disappointed in the deceptive advertising for what they call hair growth products. I have communicated with Nature's Bounty via email and I am forwarding them to you, hoping you can help consumers not be tricked.Nov 11, 2024, 10:42PM Nature's Bounty has a commercial saying it helps hair growth and they assert the average human grows 599 miles of hair in a lifetime.That is outrageous. I have shortened the email. Advise if you want It all "We appreciate your interest in our Hair Growth products! Please know, all our formulas are based on the most current nutritional research and consumer demand. In a publication by ******** et. al. in 2023, the authors provide that hair grows 0.5 inch per month (6 inches per year), and that healthy humans have around ****** terminal hairs on their scalp. Given the average lifespan of ***** years, hair can grow 6 inches/year X ****** terminal hairs X ***** years = ********** inches or 599 miles of hair per lifetime. This is a manipulated statistic of which I am sure you are aware. Your ad gives people the misinformation that their hair can grow 599 miles in a lifetime. I accept the correction from my stated 590 miles to yours of ******************************************************************************* total from scalp to bottom length and not the total if each hair follicle is laid end to end. Plus there is a certain amount of hair loss daily that regenerates and also some that is permanent, depending on many factors. There are ***** feet in a mile x 599 miles, giving ************ feet growth in total. your company is manipulating the statistics involved and shame on you. I could go into further proof but I know it would be wasted. Nature's Bounty has always had a good reputation, its sad you think it is necessary to lie and deceive to sell a product. I got no further response from them

  I have ordered ginco biloba from ********* ***** for several years. When I opened my last order, the pills were small black shiny pills instead of the usual ****** colored pills. I figured they switched the formula and didn't update the website. I contacted puritan's to confirm this. Eventually spoke with a representative who said they hadn't changed the pills, she could offer a refund on the 1 bottle, but I'd need to check the other bottle. I did check when I got home and it was also the small shiny black pill. I emailed them to request a replacement. No response so I contacted them today to get a refund. I'm hoping they reached out to everyone who received these pills, whatever they are.

  After doing business with this company for well over a decade....I'm DONE! I have always had good service, but this time they gave me the run around. They took the payment, out of my account, on May 17th. The order just showed up June 21st. I spoke with customer service, on two occasions, and both times was told that the delay was due to a system change/upgrade, etc. They did refund my money, and I'm thankful for that. I do believe the quality of their vitamins has deteriorated, as their pricing is too low to include quality ingredients, which are quite expensive.

  They continue to send junk mail to my address despite repeated phone calls and mail correspondences asking them to stop sending mailings every month. This has been occurring since we purchased our house over 3 years ago! The name on the mailings is not our name, nor the previous owners name. I'm sure it is a fictitious name of ******* *********** that they are using just to tack a name to our address. I have never purchased anything from ********* *****, I have never had an account with ********* *****, I don't even know what ********* ***** is except it shows pictures of pill bottles on the mailings that continuously come to our address. Apparently the company has other names because when I entered ********* *****, The Nature's Bounty Co. appeared for that listing. I just want them to STOP sending flyers/catalogs in the mail.

  They claim to have a Satisfaction Guarantee but they not only will not honor this, they won't even respond to any emails or even a letter that was mailed to their headquarters. I cannot recommend that anyone would ever waste money on their products, if they are not willing to back them up when things go wrong. I ended up with two bottles of gummy vitamins that were in horrible conditions and cost $12 each. They were over priced to begin with and then to get something that was so hardened up and stuck together with some type of crystalized substance on the outside, what a waste of money. I will never again spend a dime on their products. Horrible, nonexistent customer service.

  Took a gentle iron pill. All was fine when I had a freak incident occur. I did gag on the pill I guess but in trying to take it again, the capsule broke for no reason with ALL the powder coming out at once. This was very distressing and I did throw up part of the cap as well as some of the powder. Spent time on the phone with poison control and our local nurse line. Visited er/urgent care. Received a breathing treatment for asthma and now lungs inflamed. Throat too with irritation and a cough. Very scary incident and hoping no long term side effects but so far in the clear. I just want consumers to be aware and I dont think any capsule should have powder like that in it!
