      I have been waiting for over 2 months for a custom twin mattress to be made by Sealy. No salesperson or purchasing agent can give me any idea of the status of my order. I was told a few it would take weeks. That was 2 months ago.

      I have never been more disappointed in a business than I am in METRO MATTRESS, If I could give them zero stars I would. We Purchased a mattress and adjustable frame in 2022, (we have always purchased our mattress from Metro Mattress) with this mattress we purchased top of line ******* *** ****** My husband and I thought this mattress would last us at least 10 years, after all it as a 10 year warranty.. it started breaking down, I talked with someone at the store who sent out a a technician he said that the mattress had shifted. He took the pictures of the mattress with a measuring tape. The technician never looked or lifted the mattress, I even asked if he needed my husband’s help to move the mattress. He said he had gotten everything he needed. Then he asked me if I had the leather bound folder file that came with the bed? Uh? Leather file folder? Cool , We never received that. Fast forward to today, we received a letter in the mail today, that by the law that WE broke the law by removing the tags. I repeat UH? We never removed the tags, nor knew the bed was supposed to have tags, after all it is top of the line. Must have been in the leather file folder. After reading all the reviews I realized we purchased a used bed (returned bed) worth mentioning that when the adjustable base was delivered the remote had someone else name on it, and was not the base I purchased. Once again used item. To repeat I have never been more disappointed in a company.

      I had purchased the wrong size mattress (my error-the delivery person told me the size upon delivery and the Queen was ordered right away) and the date was three days later with the correct size mattress. I had a change in price from a King size to a Queen and was refunded the amount...however...I purchased the mattress on the Labor Day Sale and I was told that I would receive a refund for $500.00 difference and there was a delay in getting a response from the staff and I was told the Regional Manager was going to call me. The sales person (more than one person was involved) and told me it was his error and the District Office would need to approve the transaction. I was told by the Regional Manager that with the sale the brand names of mattresses will not approve the credit since Labor Day was passed and there was nothing he could do for me and that he did speak to Administrative Staff. All of my paperwork is dated 8-31-2024 and this is not right of this Metro Mattress to not honor the refund. I would not recommend purchasing a mattress from this company and knowing how a business could not honor the refund from the District Headquarters etc. I will not recommend this store to purchase mattresses and feel that the store does not honor the "sale price" and if there are any issues in the store or the transaction are rung up wrong with any details-I would not purchase the mattress at all and would advise the customer to walk out of the store. I will continue to follow up with other agencies in order to let other customers aware of the poor policy procedure.

      They gave me sheets that ripped twice within a period of a few months . When I called to tell them that they had ripped a second time, sales manager Gina O****** from Erie Blvd. East Dewitt store was rude to me. So rude that according to Dakota (her manager) I hung up on her. She then proceeded to look me up online (according to messages I received that showed her name and picture) which felt like stalking. JUST CREEPY! I informed her boss, Dakota, about it and he basically said there is absolutely nothing wrong with her talking to a customer the way she spoke to me, nor is there anything wrong with her stalking me online because it's public domain. He did, however, sound as though he took issue with me rejecting a third pair of ripped sheets, hanging up on her rudeness, and calling to tell him about what appeared to be/felt like her stalking me on social media.

      It’s very disappointing that I have to write this review. Metro Mattress is a well known business and up until our purchase, I thought they were sincere in customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, they are not focused on customer satisfaction.
      We purchased a ****** **** ***** mattress from their employee Scotty. He is a great guy and spent a lot of time with us to ensure we were making the right choice of the many mattress’s they carry. He gave us a great price on the mattress and we even opted for an adjustable bed to go with it (again, a great price).
      The mattress we thought we were getting actually turned out to be a ****** **** ***** Hybrid that was delivered. We didn’t realize it until the next day and we thought it felt different than the one we tried in the store. When we went back to the store to tell them, we were told ‘all sales are final’ and they couldn’t do anything. We expressed our unhappiness and stated that the mattress we received was not the same as what they said we would be getting.
      Scotty said he would talk with their Management to see if they could correct the situation. He said give them a couple of days and we should get a call. After a week we went back asking for an update and was told, they are still working on it. I call BS. They are stalling and have no intention to making things right and giving us the mattress we thought we were buying.
      Proceed with caution if dealing with Metro Mattress…..once it’s delivered, you can’t return it and they won’t stand behind their product or the mistake they made by delivering what we thought was the mattress we tried at the store.
      If Metro Mattress wants to make things right, I’ll gladly change my review to be positive. But as of now, zero stars, would HIGHLY recommend another mattress store.
